Cavs can't even really trade 2nd round picks...they traded away their 2nds from 2017-2020 already.

They do have:

2019 second round draft pick from L.A. Lakers or Minnesota (less favorable)
Portland will receive the more favorable of the L.A. Lakers' 2019 2nd round pick (via Indiana to Cleveland) and Minnesota's 2019 2nd round pick (via Cleveland) and Cleveland will receive the less favorable of these two picks [Cleveland-Minnesota, 6/25/2015; Indiana-L.A. Lakers, 7/9/2015; Cleveland-Indiana, 7/23/2015; Cleveland-Portland, 7/27/2015]
2020 second round draft pick from Portland
Portland's 2020 2nd round pick to Cleveland (via Orlando) protected for selections 31-55 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Portland's obligation to Cleveland will be extinguished) [Orlando-Portland, 7/14/2015; Cleveland-Orlando, 1/12/2016]

...so basically an ok 2nd in 2019 & a 2020 2nd that almost certainly won't convey.

Also, I believe they're now able to trade away their 2021 1st...which might be interesting because they could be all blown up by then...

Sixers rotation is now:

PG: Draft?/TJ
SG: Hendo/Staukas
SF: Simmons/Saric
PF: Love/Saric
C: Embiid/Holmes

Seems like in that situation you are forced to draft a PG; you still suck at SG but you have a sick front court where 2 guys can actually shoot well from 3. Doesn't seem awful but the value of the Lakers/Kings picks seem high at this point. Lakers should be in the 5-10 range; Kings could be top 3 in 2 years. Seems like if they could they'd want to flip someone in the front court for a SG...in that situation.
Henderson is being moved in the proposed deal but likely wouldn't start for the Sixers regardless. He wasn't starting much in the second half of the season, playing behind Stauskas or TLC. Most of his contract is non-guaranteed and it's decently likely he's waived. TLC probably ends up starting.

Regardless, both the trade return and the lineup construction for the Sixers are awful. It also just doesn't make sense to trade for Love from a success cycle perspective.

Covington probably starts for the Cavs in that scenario too in a Kyrie/George/LeBron/Covington/Thompson lineup.

Sixers should be shooting to try and be good 5 years from now when Bron is likely past his prime and Warriors are either done or on the slide.
