Morey seems like the best GM on actually getting things done

What's the impetus behind that trade though?

I have an extreme fondness for PG13 as a Pacers fan, but if Larry doesn't trade him today Larry should be fired.

zero patience, MAKING MOVES for big stars, he'd be like a younger Phil Jackson

Ballmer is crazy enough to promote him from season ticket holder to GM once he gets tired of Doc, right? make it so!
This would be amazing. Plus he turns on things so fast. He was so excited about boogie potentially going to Boston then it doesn't happen and he basically exclaims how lucky the Celtics were not to get him.

Hear this all the time fwiw. They're about as close to opposites as possible.

Looks like it's Boston or staying for PG13 - and more than likely staying put.

With that, Larry Bird looking to add around PG13 - one name I'm seeing is Arron Afflalo.

lol ya that's really gonna move the needle

This is the most shocking thing. The Sixers managed Noel like a player nursing an injury that was their main chip for the future, not like someone they were determined to move no matter what, as this trade now proves. Why not play him 30+mpg and let teams see what he's got to maximize his value? And why not play him with Embiid? 2 second rounders for him is just lol bad

$3.3m of cap room to use on buyout candidates.

Deron Williams still very likely to be on the move. Seen him tied to Jazz as the leading spot so far

Another guard who doesn't play defense. Just what they need.

Or a trade. yep. and now an open roster spot

Basically they want in on the Bogut sweepstakes?

In general, seeing that deals are stalling out and not happening ~18mins til deadline.

meh
02-23-2017 , 03:43 PM
McDermott + Taj moving for Payne.

Roberson may no longer be in the deal
02-23-2017 , 03:44 PM
Heard bulls want laveaurne
02-23-2017 , 03:44 PM
unintended consequence of CBA: teams try and unload mid tier stars before super max, mid tier stars try and nuke their trade value by saying they wont resign with new teams (because theyre not eligible for super max if traded)

pretty lame

OKC sending Joffrey Lauvergne and Anthony Morrow, w/ CHI sending '18 second-round pick with McDermott and Gibson, sources tell @TheVertical.
02-23-2017 , 03:45 PM
McD+Gibson for Cameron Payne is a huge win for OKC imo
02-23-2017 , 03:45 PM
Hibbert to Nuggets - just saving Denver money

Lauvergne and Morrow moving in the Bulls OKC deal, and '18 2nd rounder going to OKC
02-23-2017 , 03:46 PM
HIBBS

Paul George staying put. Indy has declined all offers.

Eyes move to Jimmy Butler
02-23-2017 , 03:48 PM
Cam Payne with the IT eyes tweet.
