Wiggins confirmed 2p2er, clearly saw Dood's trade of Wiggins for Otto. Stop lurking and post Andrew!
That game was so AW. Score a bunch of points on a bunch of shots, play no defense and refuse to rebound.. Take a turnaround 2 down 3 against two people with an open three point shooting specialist next to you. Next possession down 5 refused to jump for a rebound, letting Otto Porter beat 3 Wolves to secure the win.
Like I've been saying all along, he's a good scorer... but he mucks up the offensive flow and does little else. same as it ever was.
meh. The Wolves grabbed 28 of the 33 available defensive rebounds. The Wolves are a good rebounding team. If all we're doing is changing around who grabs the rebounds that doesn't really seem to matter to me. We can acknowledge when he has a good game imo.

wig's shot chart looked pretty lol, guy def had a good game today but shot distributions like that end up in those 2/15 games too. nate duncan has been hating on his lack of effort on d / boards lately too, and it's pretty obvious if you watch only him how little he reacts to what's happening
He's a 21 year old with insane athleticism, shooting 35% on 4 3pa/g, capable of scoring 41 points on 30 shots and doing stuff like this. Ya he's got WIM problems and is far from perfect, but saying stuff like "he's a better Jeff Green" as if he is dead to be more is just dumb. Also, again, going at him in a game he was exceptional in while Towns/Lavine probably did 10x as many bad things is just a bad look and reveals bias. I don't see how any of this is at all controversial.

Find it funny how this clip of wiggins vs harden gets posted every 2 weeks in TZ by his defenders. Nobody is questioning his ability to make this type of play, everybody knows he's got a sick vertical. The problem is he basically never make them, he's got 0.3 blocks/game despite a billion inches vertical. That's precisely why he's got haters (justified imo) despite having one highlight vs harden.
For the record, there was a similar clip of Towns defending Curry on a switch passing around in TZ last year, next thing you know he ranks dead last in DRPM

Paul George, Jimmy Butler, Harrison Barnes also average 0.3 blocks/game this season

wiggins 3pt shooting isn't really an asset at this stage. 35% right now, but that has been trending down after his torrid start. he'll prob finish in the low 30s again. he's taking more 3s this year, but they seem to be at the expense of his drives, rather than 2pt jumpers.
as for last night's game, i wasn't that impressed despite the #s-- think i also said this in the game thread-- but i also only saw the second half and assumed he was a lot better in the first half. saw this tweet though
highlight vid
do think he was much better in the first half fwiw. lot of drives, which should be the staple of his game. also some nice finishes. but looking at the game overall this is not style of play that is going to result in wiggins becoming an offensive stud
edit: also wonder if his shot selection in half 1 vs 2 is a microcosm of the wolves jekyll and hyde play by half
