in that case lol wolves (but still barely matters, and on the positive if they draft towns he has both an old fatty and a 'young' long guy to hone his postmoves vs in practice)

Smoove was born to guard players like LMA and Dirk.

whatever, kat + wiggz + zach is sicko

If clips lose to Suns today then Spurs don't care about last game and Canz make playoffs

If clips beat Suns today then Spurs care and okc makes playoffs

BROW's season hangs on Suns

Can anyone offer some suggestions for why Memphis has dropped off so completely? Like I know on the B.S Report that Haralabob was saying it was the Jeff Green trade but I thought they were struggling before that trade took place and he was supposed to be the solution? Obviously Jeff Green is never the answer, he's only another question but in general what do you think's going wrong? I guess Vince has fallen off a cliff. Conley a bit banged up?
04-14-2015 , 08:27 AM
Conley has been very banged up, he's played pretty bad for the last month or two, like hurting the team bad.

defensive schemes busted up due to health via very short eyetest

haven't read the article yet but i'm calling bs here.

Curry went from very bad to average is a story I can buy and being an average defensive PG when surrounded by Klay, Draymond and Bogut will tend to make you look better than you are.

Yeah, ESS is pretty much wrong. Even the visual "evidence" contradicts much of his thesis. The first GIF illustrates excellent help, and most others say more about team defensive scheme and positioning than Curry locking down.

AJ wrong again on a day that ends in Y.

Wiggins was also very close to throwing down an even more monster jam later in that game, hit the back rim though.

MONTY is also a Pop disciple, maybe Pop will throw him a bone to keep a big branch from his tree from get ****canned this summer.

So you didn't read the article and then created your own narrative? Not really sure how to respond to that my friend.

To be fair, you didn't really read it either, AJ. You just skimmed since the headline had already convinced you it was correct.

Sort of surprised the NBA media hasn't made a bigger deal out of the rescinded RWB tech. It is a scary thing when the NBA goes against it's own officials and sides with a star, not good for the league. It is obvious the NBA want OKC in the playoffs, bad look for the league.

Bro, you're telling me I didnt read the article? I did in fact read the article. There was a lot of great points and data (and gifs too). I agree things like individual ability and team schemes are conflated, which makes it difficult, but the article does a good job of showing his improvement and makes a good argument imo (based on anecdotes, stats and stuff) that hes a great pg defender. If you read the article and there's anything you specifically disagree with, then please share!

Lol how is that not good for the league? Refs are universally despised and always wrong, and everyone loves RUSS.

The more the league emasculates the refs the better.

I'm not sure it's that obvious. The choice between okc and new Orleans is probably a wash. Basically two meh teams both with one superstar.

The league rescinds a lot of techs. Something like 30+ have been rescinded this season.

It'd be amazing if brow goes off and beats the spurs, but not gonna happen.

Bref has indy as favorites to make it last night. But Brooklyn owns the tiebreaker afaict, and bk plays Orlando next, indy has wash and Memphis. Seems pretty close.
04-14-2015 , 10:57 AM
They've rescinded like 35 techs this year. They do it all the time. lol @ scary.

It's setting a dangerous precedent. Now anyone who actually does get suspended will have a legitmate argument that they are being discriminated against and are not being treated fairly.

What are they going to do next year when a star gets his 16th tech in the middle of a playoff race? Just go back and review them all and find one that "wasn't really a tech?" Let's say they do that for RWB, Lebron, etc. But then Cousins gets a 16th tech and they don't rescind any. That's a bad look.

Usually when people say things are "scary" or conspiracies it's due to gut feel and ignorance

Nothing worse for the league than letting one of the best and most exciting players in the NBA play, hopefully they crack down more on these techs.
