that's lol b/c part of the value of those shots is supposed to be you can always get them. also weird that they are getting schemed b/c i thought the bucks did played super aggressive ball-pressure trapping stuff and you'd think a team with strong guard play would eat it alive

I think the only interesting discussion is by *which* season will we declare Giannis the GOAT.

JR has covered George a lot, I think with Lance on the floor this is easier since Lebron can sag off him and roam more.

Will they try to get away with JR/Shump on Giannis? That seems a lot harder, LeBron might have to really take the challenge in that series.

Seems like Giannis might be the first mega-star type that LeBron has had to cover for the majority of a series in his career.

Durant 2012 finals he would've had to cover him more if it was more competitive, but Battier did good enough and they were in control so they didn't really need to go there.

He is listed as a pg but he's not one. He cannot run an offense.

In the NBA, your position is dictated by who you guard ftmp.

Patty is a point guard, obv he's just in there for his shooting but are you going to say Steve Kerr wasn't a point guard?

Ok, if you want to call him a PG because he guards PGs, fine. But he cannot run an offense. When I called Patty Mills a SG, I was not trying to start a terminology debate; I was trying to underline that point guards usually run the offence and Patty cannot do that. Hence, the Spurs need a decent Tony Parker.

Weird Pop never bothered to get another PG. Parker looked done last year.

He's probably having trouble sleeping right now knowing he could've signed Young Money.

I gave it to him after beating the historic warriors team last season. If he beats this even more stacked warriors team only a fool could say hes not the GOAT.

Currently you can make the debate about titles but the nba is alot more competitive currently then it was when MJ played. Winning 6/6 finals in 8 years is going to be alot tougher just because you have more quality teams and players.

Also i dont even like LBJ ive always been a hater being a pistons fan, having the natural Michigan state of Ohio hate and watching him crush us towards the end of are last good teams over and over. Also growing up in the 90s i love MJ. At this point im going to give LBJ his due though he just makes players around him better. MJ was still the man though and for sure its a debate still.

At this point I'm fairly convinced LeBron is not a human so we shouldn't hold him to the same standards we hold other players his age to.

I expect him to be able to lock down Giannis and that series will depend on Kris Middleton and Greg Monroe vs Kylie and Love with a LeBron advantage.

It's easier said than done. Pau will opt in this year which means that Spurs will have very little cap space left if they sign even one between Mills and Dedmon.

Well they did draft murray who will probably play a lot next year. I cant imagine they sign mills. These last two years have been brutal with him.

I don't think people realize or have a full appreciation for how ridiculous what LeBron doing what he's doing is. How many times since 2012 has he played entire 2nd halves in playoff games. Has another star done it even once in that time frame? Def don't remember Kawhi/Durant/Russ/Steph/Harden doing it. Of superstars only Steph/Kawhi have played in multiple finals in that time frame. He's played so many more minutes than anyone in the last 6 years and is still doing stuff like this. Pretty soon this is gonna catch up to him and I'd imagine it won't be pretty so we should just appreciate this while we can.

People who underestimate Lebron impact are the same thinking Kyrie is a great player

If you understand that Cavs roster is ****, it's quite easy to acknowledge Lebron GOATness

This is why it's so frustrating. We are all super spoiled by this and hes eating so many minutes this year when he should be slowly decreasing. I understand it's the playoffs so that's whatever. Would imagine he hits a wall sooner than later because of lue.

Serious question : is it in a mod's power to automatically change the content of AJ's posts to the youtube compilation of lebron blocking curry like 13 times in the nba finals? Asking for a friend

The only problem is it takes someone who doesn't know the game or understand context at a very rudimentary level to find that entertaining/interesting.

I conceded LeBron played well in the second half, so it's a little odd to wake up and see a couple minions hanging on my jock strap.

I always give credit when it's due. It was cool to see LeBron take over the second half like he did last night instead of deferring to a hall of famer, eventhough I bet the pacers money line. It was like watching Halley's comet.
