I get why all these guys are opting out, there's too much $ on these teams hands not to. Knicks are going to 4 year max out two above average starters and struggle as they always do when signing free agents haahha.

I think CP is probably right in his critiques if I had to guess. Rockets offense being too vanilla, not empowering other guys more, Harden going nuts with usage. I'd guess some of the other guys on the team agree with him.

But he had problems in his last stop, isn't the best messenger and is the fading star rather than the superstar so obviously isn't gonna get the benefit of the doubt.

Well Harden and Dwight couldn't mesh.

Now Harden and CP3 haven't talked for a month+.

Maybe Harden should shoulder some of the blame.

I mean, they almost won it all last year and again this year they were real contenders. It was the right move.

Not caving to CP on the full max was a mistake perhaps, but it is tough to say. That may have been agreed upon beforehand to get him to opt in to be traded.

Bucks aren't swapping Bled/Hill for CP when they have to pay Middleton and Brogdon too. Then Giannis supermax potentially. That would be cool tho. CP is better than Bled.

Batum/Marv for CP if Kemba leaves? Don't think Kemba leaves w/ LAL not having the cap tho

I really don't want CP3.

Other Knicks possible news:

RJ Barrett may no longer be a lock 3rd pick. The Knicks are working out Darius Garland tomorrow. I don't see how RJ is going to contribute to winning actual NBA basketball games so I'd be okay it if they take Darius.
