And now I present to you the NBA Champions...
Way to take the thunder away from the Toronto Raptors. It's still LeBron's NBA, they're all just playing in it.
But here's a big congratulations to longtime poster bigt2k4 for surviving with his fandom through all those playoff sweeps and to finally get to enjoy an NBA Championship.
With Durant out likely all of next season, and Klay out for possibly all of next season it will be interesting to see how the Warriors will perform (Will they sneak into the playoffs with 49 wins? Will Steph get hurt and they become lottery bound? Who the **** knows!?). I imagine the Warriors will still give max length / max money contracts to both of them.
The latest NBA free agency rumors:
- Kyrie wants to join the Nets
- The Knicks could be interested in D'Angelo Russell in that case, offering him a max (or very close to it).
- Kawhi could very well re-up in Toronto or go to the Clippers.
However, he may be tempted to form this triumvirate of basketball awesomeness:
- It looks like Jimmy Butler will get a 5 year max from Philadelphia. Will Purple and Gold tempt him to go West young man?
- Kemba Walker has reportedly said he will take LESS than a max to stay in Charlotte (like seriously WTF, Jordan has plenty of money. Make him pay you that silly silly looking American money.)
The Ringer has this to say about Kemba:
Quote:
The Lakers have a lot more work to do, of course. According to The New York Times’ Marc Stein, Kemba Walker will be their top free-agent target. (Don’t bank on Kyrie Irving reuniting with LeBron. League sources fully expect him to sign with the Brooklyn Nets.) Kemba would have to give up $80.7 million guaranteed, without factoring in taxes, to leave Charlotte for Los Angeles. Walker has two choices: He can re-sign with the Hornets for $221.3 million over five years and spend the next five years fighting for the 8-seed in the East, or he can sign with the Lakers for $140.6 million over four years and compete for championships.
- Khris Middleton has reportedly been the sole focus for the Bucks this offseason since they extended Bledsoe during the season. My guess is that he'll be staying with the Bucks.

The NBA Draft is this Thursday.
Zion will be #1, Ja Morant #2, and RJ Barrett #3.
The rest is reportedly a lackluster draft (I'm saying Bol Bol will be the steal of this draft). Right now the Pelicans have the #1 and the #4 pick but they are reportedly aggressively shopping the #4 pick for an all-star player (I've heard that Bradley Beal is on their radar).
and now without further ado, I present to all of you TZ fans:

Real NBA Season,
The NBA Offseason!
