Wait aren't PG and RWB both insane? I remember some PG baby mama drama. Should be fun. RWB is going for Most Missed Shots All Time imho.

Washington was reportedly offering Otto Porter Jr, Oubre, and picks for PG13. They really wanted him.

Can I get another LOLIndy?

Seems to me like OKC has a massive hole at SG

Honestly think about this. You hear that, you hear Boston offering a crap load, etc etc.

IMO truth was, teams just weren't offering much. He's probably 90%+ going to LAL next year and teams know it.

Also I'm curious if Sabonis does pan out, how well will he play with Myles?

I guess Myles probably quick enough to guard some 4's but hmmm. The way the NBA is changing doubt those two can share the floor often.

C's offer was supposedly Crowder, Smart and either the Clippers or Grizzlies pick. They weren't giving up the Nets pick, Lakers/Sac pick, Brown or Tatum for a 1 yr rental. Indy wanted at least 1 of the lottery picks.

I'm not seeing many reports about Blake and this 5 year 173m contract, half wondering if this might become a S&T?
07-01-2017 , 12:57 AM
Knicks supposedly working to trade Lee and would trigger the trade if they sign George Hill
07-01-2017 , 12:58 AM
Per Bobby Marks: The Timberwolves still have cap flexibility even with the three-year, $57m Jeff Teague contract. Minnesota could have up to $16.3m in cap space.

Sounds like enough for Iggy to me...

Nah, Teague is a terrible signing. Teague is just another smaller version of Butler/Wiggins on offense and is terrible defensively. I mean they tried this (meshing Teague with ball dominant guards/wings who aren't great 3 pt shooters) in Indy last year and it failed miserably.

If you think Teague is an upgrade from Rubio, ESPECIALLY for this team, it just shows a misunderstanding of how basketball and team construction works. I think this is a major misstep from Minnesota.

Yup. Indy pretty much couldn't do anything. Only other option wud be to wait til trade deadline and hope someone or LA panicked. But if teams were hesitant about giving anything up now bc they thought George was going to LA why the hell would they give anything up for even less time with him?
07-01-2017 , 01:02 AM
Yea and I am super surprised w/ Teague going to Wolves right away, I thought they were after Lowry for sure - makes me think he's back with Toronto.

I don't think Teague is great, but I think having shooting with help give Towns space to operate. Better or worse than Rubio? for me, toss up. I value shooting enough I probably take Teague but super close for me.

And yeah, these 'sources' saying teams are offering the world for PG13, coming from Indy to drive up the market!

If Thibs doesn't break him with overuse that's a nice fit.

This might be the last chance to trade Wiggins. Once they start winning he will have to produce to get playing time.

Teague isn't that good of a spacer. He got 3 3's per 32 mins off this year.

That's awful by todays standards. His release is so slow.

Numbers aren't finalized but sounds like Nerlens gonna be re-signing with Mavs.
07-01-2017 , 01:08 AM
Otto Porter has been meeting with Wizards since FA began. Good or bad nothing has been signed yet? who knows
07-01-2017 , 01:08 AM
POR beat reporter on twitter saying Blazers made an offer on Monday for PG that was better than what IND ended up taking, but I don't know what it was. I'd guess Crabbe being the main piece, if he thinks it was better probably included pick(s).

Teague much better at PnR than Rubio, should help towns a lot

It really stinks that Dirk is 40 and W3S is hurt all the time. Smith/Wes/Barnes/Dirk/Noel is like perfect lineup construction/fit. Obv wouldn't matter with GS wrt title equity but would be a lot of fun to watch them play together.

bc Teague is more a threat to shoot/score? Find it unlikely that Teague is gonna put Towns in more advantageous positions to score than Rubio since Rubio is such a good passer with such good vision.

Rubio just underrated. Teams have always played well with him on the court, he just hasn't been able to stay healthy.

Indys front office could just really like Oladipo and Sabonis.
07-01-2017 , 01:22 AM
Yeah I take back my THIBS love for signing Teague. Hill or Lowry make way more Sense and seemingly could be had for cheap. Denver looks to be front runners for hill and Millsap, if they get those two it'll make losing Gallo a non-starter.

Chris Mannix @ChrisMannixYS
Genuine surprise in Boston that Indy went with Oladipo/Sabonis package. C's believed they offered superior, rebuild-ready deal.

‘no the deal was huge we offered a lot’ danny ainge said between bites of an orange ‘sorry i’m going through a tunnel'

Yeah I'm guessing it was a case of Indy was in love with Oladipo/Sabonis and didnt want George to go to the celtics.
07-01-2017 , 01:28 AM
Sabonis > dipo > pg 13
07-01-2017 , 01:36 AM
Ainge sounds like the typical fantasy owner that thinks their own players are the best
07-01-2017 , 01:41 AM
Maybe Tatum was there first choice all along.
