i expect a good TR from one of you

Whenever the TWolves play the Raptors I'm going to try and send a bunch of faxes to that number for the preceding 24 hours

The Clippers getting some pretty decent assets from someone who was slated to be an unrestricted free agent is actually really really good. I don't get the hate from them as an organization considering they were handcuffed from the previous misadventures of LOLDoc.

Lebron gonna go to Houston next yr
06-29-2017 , 04:05 PM
Dar0, everything they did after the trade deadline has been top notch. Even though the Melo thing is LOLDoc, it's probably best for them overall.

So do you want Blake gone or do you want LAC to try and be the post-LBJ Heat?

There's this strange thing going on where everyone seemingly agrees with that at heart but still are pretending it's a great move for the Rockets. Its just weird.
It just depends on whether you think going from a 2% to 6% title shot counts as "moving the needle."
06-29-2017 , 05:07 PM
They're not 6%. And they're probably not 2% either.
06-29-2017 , 05:11 PM
You try to make your team better because there's nothing else to do, not because you think it's important to go from 2% to 6%. A lot of these owners are old af they don't want to wait for a bunch of 20 something's on gsw to get old before they start trying to win.....
06-29-2017 , 05:21 PM
That's not what the Rockets were. The Rockets were already very good. They've massively hurt their future. If you're going to do that it should be for a lot better reason than making your team very very very slightly better.

Saying "there's nothing else to do" is ******ed. "Not giving Chris Paul $41 million per year for ages 33-37" does indeed count as something to do.
06-29-2017 , 05:24 PM
Slightly better is an undetstatment. What they gave up was close to the poo poo platter that sent the hornets into a 10 year regression for Paul. It was Eric Bledsoe/aminu//Kaman/a rivers but amounted to nil

John Stockton had some similarities in his game to cp3 and was an all star into his late thirties. we disagree on how his game will progress for sure
06-29-2017 , 05:29 PM
How much better do you think they got bung?
06-29-2017 , 05:31 PM
They can beat the spurs right? They're conference finals good if they can, which is a big improvement imo

I'd prefer for them to sign him then blow it up for real at the deadline and start over.

Melo sucks balls so I don't mind them not trading for him because while they might have beat the Jazz, they would have gotten demolished by GSW which would have left them in the exact spot they're in now except they have Melol making 30+ million on the books.

That facebook post looks too ridiculous to be true, but I want it to be :/

You guys can't get upset with l.williams for that comment, if non poker playing commentators spoke on poker you'd cringe everytime they spoke as well.

Quote:
Kentucky coach John Calipari has reached out to the Knicks through intermediaries to express interest in the the team's vacancy in their president of operations role, sources said Thursday.

The Knicks, who parted ways with Phil Jackson on Wednesday, do not have interest in Calipari at the moment, sources said.
He does realize NBA is a much different game then the one he abuses right now with the 1 and done rule. Guy is not an amazing Xs and Ys coach but plays the rules well.
