LA Times said thirdhand that CP3 has plans to meet with Houston and Denver. .

I hadn't heard of those two with all the talk about the Spurs. My gut (or maybe my heart) tells me that if Denver were to land him it would be with another player, in which case things could get really interesting over there.

- Lebron is good friends with Josh Kroenke (Nugs owner), they even vacationed on Josh's yacht last year.

- Mike Malone coached LBJ and by all accounts they are tight.

- Jokic and Harris will have astronimically low cap-holds in 2018.

Murray/Juancho/Plumlee >>> FULL BLOWN AIDS

The depth would allow their old stars to actually rest, and they'd have 2 guys in Gallo and Jokic that absolutely punish GSW when they go small. CP3 would pop his conference finals cherry and we'd at least have a competitive series with the Warriors. Lebron would be the 3rd best post-up guy ffs.

This is even better than that time they were this close to landing prime Dwight.
