The season doesn't start for 2 months, and the Cavs are so deep at the wing/guard positions that IT will barely need to play 30 minutes a game.

I honestly believe this is the most one sided trade of the generation

LeBron has one foot out the door and Celts give him Crowder and the Nets pick.

Love, Crowder, and the nets pick can be used to get LeBron any player he wants to stay longterm.

Boston gives away most of their future to move laterally and ensure that LeBron stays with Cleveland.

All they had to do was stand pat and keep their young pieces and they project to have the best team whenever this Cavs thing ends. Instead they keep the Cavs train rolling.

Danny Ainge is a colossal ****ing idiot.

PG: IT/Rose/Felder/Calderon

is 17 guys on the roster, but I think you don't need to cut down to 15 until the end of camp.
Now if only they had some sort of draft asset to make the deal work hmm :P

I can't get over mortgaging the farm to go with Horford/Heyward/Kyrie

Nope. Cavs got a lot worse. Crowder is the most overrated player on this board. Thomas is a negative. Draft pick won't help lebron.

Only chance is if they move that pick for a star.

Bron just got himself a souped up Mo Williams.
08-22-2017 , 08:00 PM
lolvictor you don't have to hedge Bro.

Lebron was out the ***damn door and now I think it's 50/50 at worst.

The biggest loser in this whole trade is the Mamba, he's not even the best Koby in the league now.

Victor must be Danny Ainge

There is no way they give up Crowder AND a Nets pick. That would be insanity
I think he forgot to put the word "just" in somewhere.

lol hating on Crowder on a stacked team.

This is exactly where he should be. Thomas too. This is really an amazing trade.
08-22-2017 , 08:02 PM
crowder is both a very good player and an amazing fit with the cavs.

What are you talking about, man. IT isn't as good as Kyrie, but he fills the same role. Crowder is hugely better than Jefferson(and an absolutely perfect fit since he'll only have to 3 and D), Zizic is better than the unbelievably ****ty rotation of 4th bigs the Cavs tried last season, and the pick helps keep Lebron even if they don't trade it by giving him a future he can sign onto.

And if worse comes to worst, the pick can be how start the rebuild.

Kyrie and IT both kinda suck

Or they could easily flip that pick for a top 30ish player... It'd be risky to do it mid-season though with Lebron possibly leaving, but I could see LBJ agreeing to stay if they trade it this time next year.
08-22-2017 , 08:06 PM
IT is a really sweet fit though
08-22-2017 , 08:07 PM
Also,

Wade is definitely going to the Cavs post buyout.
08-22-2017 , 08:08 PM
I think IT is worse but could be better on non-Lebron lineups.. I only say this knowing Kyrie absolutely can't be the alpha on a team that is any good and we've seen IT2 be that guy.
08-22-2017 , 08:08 PM
crowder gives the cavs an actual living plus wing defender instead of the corpse of jefferson

Im not hedging. pay better attention. Ive said all along lebron was gone. said they should just roll with kyrie and bron and try to title one last time. didnt think they could make a trade to get better and irving's value wont decline much after lebron leaves as he has a good contract.

I dont think this trade makes them better and thus I dont like it. I dont care about long term.

I mean, its not like Ive made many posts itt and its not like my position is complicated.

get a clue before spouting off.

+1

Has everyone already forgotten just how amazing Kyrie was in the finals the past 2 years?
08-22-2017 , 08:11 PM
Ainge getting railroaded by "GM to be named later" is the best thing ever
08-22-2017 , 08:12 PM
if isaiah is rly hurt and nets pick falls to 7 is this trade ok?

I mean, its quite simple. I dont think the cavs got better. I dont think crowder is much better than average and IT is well below average. I mean, its nice that they can try hard during the regular season and rack up bulk numbers and win meaningless games. when it comes to the playoffs, just super lololol at relying midget thomas and role playing crowder.

the pick is nice and could swing the whole thing if they can make a blockbuster tho.

I love the trade tbh
