The talent gap was apparent and defense was certainly an issue for every Blazer except for the Chief. Dame's numbers are incredible considering his help and how much the team relies on him.

you're clearly wrong, nobody is going to convince you otherwise but more importantly nobody is going to engage you about this. so just stop

Imagine how dominant that rwb-cp3-harden-kd dynasty could have been

Like, I can't even comprehend this.

My point being that he was younger, faster, and more aggressive on defense. Now, the younger, more athletic point guards force him to rely on D. Jordan more. We'll see how he does in HOU. Sorry for the confusion.

r/nba is doing a typically horrible, but kind of interesting eliminator, where redditors vote to eliminate a team every day, and after 30 there will be one standing. so far looks like small market teams are voting against big market teams and vice versa. cavs got knocked out day 1 since they're the obv small market choice and there's more voters for big market teams, but as it whittles down, i bet the big market teams will get picked off and there'll be some random champion - probably a young team that hasn't made a lot of enemies yet. my pick: sixers. tho im willing to give the raptors a chance because of justin bieber or maybe its just bigt2k voting a million times, we'll never know.

yeah i think it is somewhat related. as cute as some of these schemes are you're doing the defense a favor a lot of the time when they want the ball away from the best scorer*. durant made defending the dubs a ridiculous problem, but the warriors also played way more pnr this playoffs than last (at least against the cavs). even w/curry < 100% and all the other stuff if they make a similar adjustment last year they still win imo

edit: even during the thunder series last year i was clamoring for kerr to stop fpsing and run curry/dray pnr

* you can get better shots but you lose some control over the quality of shot you get

I don't vote on things like that, and I rarely bet on sports since I find myself too heavily invested emotionally. That being said I'm thinking of putting a fairly large amount of money (far more than I've ever bet) on the Raptors winning the Atlantic this year. I think their odds are 40% at worst and I'm thinking I will get better than 4-1.

the raptors have some attributes of a team that is undervalued by vegas, especially for that exact prop (rather than winning it all). then again a raptors writer on dunc'd on said he thinks it's a good idea to play lowry fewer mins next year and have him fresher for the playoffs. makes sense given their struggles and where he is in his career.

im not sure how beatable futures are either. my instinct is that a lot of the value in betting nba is figuring out how teams deal with traveling/resting as well as different match ups. who's partying in LA/miami? what kind of players bother lowry/derozan? what's their motivation level? etc.

Big3 Playoffs tonight. (airing tomorrow)

I was hoping theyd expand the games higher than first to 50 for the playoffs, but I dont think they are.

Trilogy -155 to ship.
3-Headed Monsters +230
Power +680
Ghost Ballers +880

I think I'd have to favor the underdogs in a one-game playoff with some variance on their side. The two top teams have been pretty dominant. Trilogy going 8-0. 3HM going 6-1 and losing their meaningless final game. I like Power though because they upgraded by trading for Rasual Butler midseason. Someone somewhere is tracking analytic data for this and theyre my hero.

I've found the Big3 playoffs to be thoroughly enjoyable, didn't think I would.

KYRIE TO BOSTON FOR IT4 PER WOJJJJJJJJJJ
08-22-2017 , 06:34 PM
Numerous reporters saying a Kyrie for IT+(????) trade is very close. That's the purest challenge trade ever, 1 and 2 in a conference swapping guys who play the same position.

Just Crowder+IT2 is an absolute robbery for Cleveland wtf.

Seems like a pretty good haul for CLE.
