He's underrated ITT but massively massively overrated by the majority of casual fans.

Kyrie is very good but limited. He does have a god mode that's great in the playoffs and against the warriors but doesn't play d, isn't the best passer and I'm not sure he could be a number one guy on a great team.

Daily reminder that wooderson literally has downs when it comes to his basketball opinions
07-21-2017 , 07:06 PM
Besides his Bron hate he's got a great basketball mind.

I think Kyrie/his people knew what they were doing.

He asks for this deal 3 weeks ago and he is on Indy or Chi right now for George/Butler.

And I think he has a good idea LeBron isn't long for Cle and wanted to get ahead of it as well.

Saying they should trade LeBron has nothing to do with hating him. It's the only logical thing to do. If they trade Kyrie and LeBron leaves (which he is basically a lock to do no matter what) the Cavs are completely ****ed and super irrelevant for a while.

It's going to be impossible to get good value on a Kyrie trade. LeBron could be traded for two good pieces. With the East being pretty terrible for the foreseeable future a core of Kyrie, Love, and 2 other good pieces is actually pretty good.

The problem is LeBron's no trade clause but I'd imagine hed be fine with going somewhere else for a year since he'll literally be drawing dead with this Cavs team.

Where is he going to go for a year? Don't see Bron doing the rent a player thing.

I kinda think the Cavs just keep him, atleast until the trade deadline. There just isn't much you can do right now.

Ekpe Udoh is back, baby.

Jazz give him 2 years, 6.5

LBJ would be fine with going to a worse team?

good for kyrie. while lebron is busy being passive aggressive on social media, kyrie just owns it and asks for a trade. 1 step ahead of the self proclaimed king

Blow it all up and blame Kyrie imo.

First domino is trading Kyrie, then Bron will okay a move out.

Imagine a deal centered around Kanter for Bron, or Portland moves some of their periphery pieces, ditto for Denver, etc. Lots of teams in better situations would okay a 30 cents on the dollar trade for a one year go of it followed by a sales pitch.

Cavs without Lebron are drawing dead to do anything so it doesn't really matter what they do with Kyrie since Lebron seems like a lock to leave.

With Kyrie they'd be more relevant and playoff but they'd have a near zero chance of coming out of the east. The Cavs are truly bad sans Lebron.

King Kong ain't got nothin' on Kyrie!
07-21-2017 , 07:34 PM
lol Kyrie

Way to wait a month too long. He'd probably have been traded for Chris Paul. Maybe that's why he waited?
07-21-2017 , 07:34 PM
Lol any spurs fan that wouldn't want Kyrie. Our best pg option is a 36 year old coming off a season ending injury . Not gonna happen but it would be nice
07-21-2017 , 07:35 PM
Jimmy Butler for Lebron?
07-21-2017 , 07:36 PM
He's ****ing Cleveland over by asking out after pg and butler already traded. Wonder if he did that on purpose.

I also said Pop would find a way to utilize Kyrie, not makeover his game.

doesn't really make sense to me b/c he is playing for a ring next year. feel like he has to believe he was wronged by the org somehow to request an immediate trade

yeah, but so what?

Something probably came out. Maybe Bron wanted him flipped for 1 of those 3 and he found out.

I'd think he would want a CP/Kyrie deal. LAC is a pretty nice spot for him.

@heels post above mine. He has an ego though. LeBron leaving him high and dry kinda makes him look lame. Sure to us it is nothing because we think he's like the 23rd best player in the NBA. But I doubt he sees himself that way and doesn't wanna come off looking like D Wade.

Wasn't there a bit of contention with the org after he got hurt in the '15 Finals?

This seems quite possible.

With Kyrie+Love+what they get in the trade they'd be a solidly very good team for the foreseeable future. Makes no sense not to aspire to that considering they're also drawing dead WITH lebron
