they already had him, how do you think they got kawhi? since gasol is reworking his contract to benefit the team they need to worry about resigining simmons. they need to move aldridge or gasol. 2 big men who play as soft as marshmallows on the same team is notta good thing. aldridge could be a HOF er no doubt with his talent, but hes just too soft and would rather stand outside and shoot jumpers to avoid contact. hes basically unstoppable and so high % in the paint/low post, if popovich cant get through to him i doubt any other coach can. also him nor gasol play any d, not surprising in lamarcus' case considering he played for stotts in portland who allows his whole team to play d like a bunch of matadors
