Man, as a Pacer's fan I would love it so much if we got Hinkie, provided ownership just told him something along the lines of "Just tone down the process a notch or two." His overall strategy was too extreme and obviously was always going to have consequences IMO but all his individual decisions and trades were great.

Even if you doubt the idea, it seems likely that you would be embarrassed if anyone found out that you read whatever site it is.

They were 5th in the league in local TV ratings last year despite being 19th in SRS.

yes, lol at literally everyone reporting on the nba right now, what do they know
06-20-2017 , 08:41 AM
If they're all getting it from the same source what difference does it make how many people are reporting it?
06-20-2017 , 08:42 AM
I know it sounds hard to believe but sometimes people lie.
06-20-2017 , 09:03 AM
Lebron subtweeting and calling him grif sure is expert cover
06-20-2017 , 09:07 AM
Apparently Griff was working hard on a Butler deal. . .yesterday, hours before fired. Never change Cleveland.
06-20-2017 , 09:08 AM
Did Billups win the 3x3 league he was captaining?
06-20-2017 , 09:09 AM
Cant wait to see next GM dealing 2022 and 2024 unprotected first round for a bench player that can help Lebron
06-20-2017 , 09:12 AM
Lol anyone who honestly believes this was not ran by lebron before.
06-20-2017 , 09:13 AM
people are amazing whenever something happens that challenges their world's views
06-20-2017 , 09:15 AM
Lebron wasnt consulted when they fired david blatt mid season too right?
06-20-2017 , 09:18 AM
FWIW, the Cavs said LeBron wasn't consulted on the Blatt firing either, which everyone knew was not true.

Except he wasn't advocating for Blatt to get a new contract months prior, nor did word come from his camp that he wasn't happy with the decision, nor did he publicly denounce the move

I guess it could've been a months long con with tons of people in on an illogical conspiracy, seems pretty unlikely though

No matter what you think it is significantly different from the Blatt firing. Gilbert doesn't extend or pay his GMs, Griffin wasn't fired
06-20-2017 , 09:21 AM
It's possible that LeBron wasn't consulted about Griffin. So long as he is consulted about personnel moves, he may not gaf about whether he is consulted about the firing of the person who nominally controls personnel moves.

Sure, but the point is that it's difficult to attribute any significance to statements by the Cavs on this sort of issue.
