Poor CP3. No WCF again

Fultz is an unathletic scrub.
07-06-2017 , 03:52 AM
He's a slightly shorter/quicker Paul Pierce.

im taking the over sides of por 39.5 and was 45.5

if you want unders for max 100, up to 5 people qtb.

Is it wrong that I instinctively want to take the under on the Pelicans because I have full faith in Cousins to find a way to miss the playoffs?
07-06-2017 , 04:17 AM
Pels will win like 33 games no clue what the ou is

ESPN reporting Celts looking to deal 1 of Bradley/Crowder/Smart. If Hayward just took 300k less they could keep all of them.

I'd think Smart is gone but it is possible it is Bradley if the Celts think it is gonna take like 4/80 to retain him.

Seems like cap room is going to be in short supply next offseason so not sure what his market will be. But 4/75-80ish sounds about right if he can stay healthy.

Raptors in the super easy East should win 50+ again like they always do, 47.5 is free money.
07-06-2017 , 08:43 AM
Line obviously factoring in that top ten PF PP was worth like 10 wins
07-06-2017 , 08:50 AM
Yeah those lines are really soft, probably low limits.

Some of them are just way off like Orlando and LAL.

Is Crowder's contract just too good to trade?
07-06-2017 , 09:46 AM
His contract is great but Brown is emerging, Tatum is there. Just don't really have room for 4 small forwards.

He's probably gone sooner than later.
07-06-2017 , 09:54 AM
I'd honestly rather keep Crowder than Brown. Brown only makes slightly less, is under contract for the same amount of time (granted RFA for Brown, but still), is a dog to ever be as good as Crowder is now and probably could get more value for him. Not sure how hot of a take that is.
07-06-2017 , 09:59 AM
Brown may be a dog to be as good as Crowder is but his ceiling is considerably higher so there's outcomes where he does get there which would be way more valuable than keeping Crowder.
07-06-2017 , 10:17 AM
despite being "raw" i don't think brown's ceiling is actually that high. he wasn't even that good in college
07-06-2017 , 10:25 AM
I'd keep Crowder over Brown too
07-06-2017 , 10:28 AM
only positive for keeping brown over fultz is that him and tatum seem to have hit it off and can grow up together.

id agree that for the donkier gms that might give us a better return for brown, it definitely makes more sense to move him.

It's not star player but it's still >>Crowder. His floor is ultralow but probably worth it to take that gamble still.
07-06-2017 , 10:53 AM
crowder is consistently a top 30 RPM player. so probably not actually top 30 in terms of value in a vacuum, but hes just a fantastic guy on a good situation that has other high usage offensive players (i.e. the celtics and any good team, really).

brown has a higher ceiling in terms of potentially being able to do more on offense, but his expectation in terms of playing defense and hitting 3s is well below crowder.
07-06-2017 , 10:59 AM
He's also the famous lebron stopper so you can't risk losing that.

Bit weird to me that they're actually going to have to move one of these 3 if true considering Brad actually seems to rate all 3 of them (i think smart sucks but the other 2 are good).

I guess i'd have expected one of the following to happen before :

-Hayward takes 300k less voluntarily if he did move to Boston to win after all(if that's the actual number saw it quoted above)
-Owner pays a little bit of luxury tax (if they're barely over the cap then shouldn't be too expensive)
-Hayward takes money under the table
07-06-2017 , 11:01 AM
yea moving smart is the very clear move, his only singularly useful skill on the Cs was running some backup PG while still being able to defend multiple positions and hayward can absolutely do that.
07-06-2017 , 11:08 AM
Smart was second in minutes played for Boston. Think he was more important to them than that post implies. He kinda sucks but has value.

I'd rather trade AB since he's going to get paid and is under the radar not that good.

Billups turned down Cavs job because they lowballed him, only offered $1.5mil a year
