patpat gives OKC a decent sweat, such an insane contract.

so many random counter-death lineups you could conjure, just a bevy of length and arms and insane defense + orebs

Abrines or Doug will have to start unless they find someone for cheap
07-04-2017 , 11:55 PM
pretty sure they would try to roll out RWB/Roberson/George/Patpat/Adams as the counter death, maybe subbing in Abrines for Roberson situationally.
07-05-2017 , 12:15 AM
Yeah patpat is a sick get for them, I think that puts them on the lead in the Nw.
07-05-2017 , 12:22 AM
So it turns out it's the Nets' 4/$106m that Wash will have to match.

this is prob going to be their most common lineup anyway unless they nab a real sg

Can't wait to watch Gallo on the Clippers. Not sure how good they will be but that will be one very interesting team to watch.

Dar0, you're going to be watching one of the most unique players in the NBA.

Clips fans will love Gallo

Such a fun team. How they managed to have a top 5 offense in spite of no shooters is mind-boggling. He tore his ACL the next game and things went south quick

Gallo is one of the OG unicorns in the league. Slow as **** and not a good finisher, yet has amazing efficiency because he gets fouled so much. You'd think he was a terrible defender give his quicks, but he's always ranked pretty decent and is almost always in the best lineups overall.

Can't wait to hear some "BINGO"s from Lawler.

Nice get on Hayward to the celtics. Would of been sick if they took Ball/Fultz and then could of pulled off a trade for Butler/George. By the sounds of it though they were offering alot for PG13 but Indy was in love with the players they got.

The changes from the original Clips/Nugs/Hawks trade is that the Hawks get $ from the Clippers & the Nugs get the 2019 Wizards 2nd from the Hawks.

I'm not saying Utah hasn't managed the team well in the post-DWill era but people need to pump the brakes a little. Making Hayward sign the offer sheet with Charlotte rather than just giving him a 5yr deal was a massive screw up. And considering guys like Klay, Dray, Kawhi all took 5 yr deals then I'm sure Hayward would've as well.

And if it has a PO after 4 then who knows if the Celts are even in position to get him next summer or if it is as attractive looking of an option as it is right now.

It was a pretty colossal screw up.

Lowe said problem he sees with Gallo to LAC is that as he gets older he needs to spend more minutes at the 4 and that is a little harder on a DAJ/Blake team. Makes sense.

Stretch/hybrid 4 seems like the right fit for Gallo at this point.

Thunder being really overrated. Lol Russ.

GS
OKC
Hou
SA
Minn
Den
NO
Port
Memph
LAC
Utah

That is the order, not really debatable. Hou/SA probably win more games than OKC but I like OKC as a playoff team better.

LAC looks OK on paper but it just feels like a team that was thrown together as a way to salvage after losing CP3. DJA/Bev/L Will are all FA's to be and wouldn't be surprised if they dealt them once the season went bad. Gallo/Griffin are both injury prone.

Utah is just going to be really bad offensively, maybe Gobert's D+nice homecourt carries them to a .500 season but West looks too loaded for that. Who is leading this team in scoring? Favors? Hood?

I am probably higher on NO than most. Staggering Brow/Cousins should mean they never have worse than a .500 level lineup on the court at all times, in theory.

I think Memph is on the decline as well unless Parsons has some miraculous resurgence but that isn't a very hot take. (Wonder if they re-sign Allen)

Just lol at thinkining patrick freakin patterson moves the needle

OKC way too high. Russ is gonna kill or sodomize PG before the all-star break.
07-05-2017 , 07:17 AM
Yeah that OKC ranking is an upside ranking really. I think in terms of talent/team fit they are #2 but obviously intangibles like Russ and PG both being FA's to be and probably not wanting to be there could hurt them. They still gotta pay Roberson to comeback too, someone could make that difficult for them.

I woke up this morning catching up on like the last hundred posts and I was starting to think I'm in a parallel dimension. Just some insane posts that people were agreeing with.

Roberson is no lock to come back either. Hes a RFA and Nets might make it expensive.

So basically whenever a GM give a max contract he is terrible because he didn't listened to the market and when he use correctly the RFA status he's bad because he hurts the player's pussy ?

Gordon had a terrible year before signing his contract he was far from a lock to justify that money. It was good understanding of NBA FA rules by the gm

Also if I remember correctly there was no hindsught of a possible cap boom when he signed. But that information was available when handing Green and Klay contracts.

The ****ing revisionim level is over 9000 itt. Gordon dodnt deserve a 5 year max he developed into a player worth of it
