SAS declining in a large fashion by doing nothing this offseason IMO. Yet to see if they even keep Simmons.

OKC not gonna be too much better IMO.

Hou and Wolves the major improvements

Ya, completely right, and it's not like that wasn't foreseeable as a likely outcome.

Again, completely right, and pairing him with Jimmy is close to my pairing him with Harden last draft.

Come off the bench with Iguodala minutes until Brown or Tatum surpasses him. Maybe start him if they can't find a big who can be used the way the Warriors use Zaza.

But they will move him if he pouts about his role.

How are the Jazz winning 50 games in the stacked West without Hayward? How are OKC not better with PG replacing Dipo? Some of the takes in this thread are scorching.

His skill-set pales as a creator off the bench like Iggy.

Iggy is closer to Manu than Crowder.

You really waste Crowder as a bench player.

You didn't have a market bro, all the wanting doesn't change it.

I assume plenty of action available to you if you want to fade them making the PO's tho.

Getting phone spam that Haywood isn't necessarily going anywhere? The ****?

He's 28yo coming off .234 ws/48 season
being in a hurry to dump him seems an overreaction to him being short

Agreed, those are two of the worst.

Would love u45 Jazz, someone snap me up. Allons-y!

Maybe Denver swoops in and gets Hayward now that the chips are on the table....

The post you quoted was talking about letting him walk next year. Not dumping him.

If dumping him = not paying him a max, it's not an overreaction.

This has a chance to the best lolAinge yet

Why not draft Fultz; have Fultz backup IT and Bradley at the 1 and 2 for like 20 minutes a game total and see if he's the future and if he is at the 1 or 2; move on from IT. The log game at the 3 is still interesting for the Celts. Do they think the flexibility will help with the Warriors or Cavs?

Not in a hurry to dump him, but certainly would prefer to draft a 19 yo at same position with higher ceiling than resign him to a max draft another wing
07-04-2017 , 03:54 PM
Rudy Gay wouldn't be that bad for the Jazz given their gaping scoring hole. Gotta have someone who can score and who are the options
07-04-2017 , 04:00 PM
Yeah, not sure Crowder wants to come off the bench. Probably already pissed he is so underpaid.

He's the type of guy who you probably aren't going to get value for in return if you deal him.

And yeah they have way too many wings now. Fultz would've fit better.
07-04-2017 , 04:05 PM
Celtics plan was to always sign/trade for a wing or two, so there's obviously some sort of plan in place, whatever it is...

They obviously weren't that into Fultz. We'll see how lol that take turns out to be.
07-04-2017 , 04:10 PM
Clippers will still be pretty good btw. Gallo is great. Blake and Gallo both staying healthy may be a pipe dream though.

The takeaway can only be that Ainge didn't care much for Fultz or Ball.

That can still be lolAinge ldo.

I feel like that's what I said, except I should have added Ball, too.

If Fultz and/or Ball are significantly better than Tatum + whatever they get on the Lakers/Kings/6ers pick, it's a whole-hearted lol Ainge.

Sounds like Crawford to Lakers. Can't deny that LA lifestyle.

I don't disagree, exactly. But that also seems pretty results-oriented.

There was a consensus big drop between 1/2 and 3+ in this draft.

The Lakers pick figures to be quite good though in another talent-laden draft.

At this point, I find it hard to lolAinge or praise him regardless of how it turns out. Feel like he most likely made a small error.
