The West should be a lot better this upcoming year than last year. And their offense is gonna be bad.

Who is gonna be their leading scorer? Hood? lol

Pretty hilariously fitting that they traded for Rubio.

Kahn had to save that 5 year max for him if you remember.

Would think the players tribune announcements era is almost over. Maybe Hayward can end it and start a new trend of not having a sappy PR story when you switch teams.

Should the Jazz explore a sign and trade for Olynyk? The Celtics should have incentive to do it, so they can use the full MLE rather than the room exception and possibly keep Rozier and Smart, if the math works out.

Don't let the Gordon Hayward thing distract you from the fact that Lindsey just raped the Nuggets by getting a lottery pick in the most loaded draft for a late 1st pick and a trash player

And Donovan Mitchell seems as good as the 7-12 picks, he's just 1 year older, but lots of upside on Offense and Defense

Rudy Gay is a good replacement? Since when?

I would guess in time it's going to get conflated that LeBron's letter was on there.

Mitchell seems awesome. Assuming Hayward gone, definitely makes Hood a player that can be traded pretty immediately.

He gonna get paid. Think of all those backup bigs that got paid last year plus he can shoot. Will be a market for him certainly

Since Maggette got hurt & they need a 3 on 3 player.

So Crowder off the bench or move him to the 4?

He's the best replacement that's available, he wasn't that bad with the kings tbh. Either way it's not looking good for them, they can keep hood & trade Gobert & favors & get a good offer for them. Gobert to the celtics makes the most sense, but as stated in this thresd before i'm not sure Utah wants to help them even if it nets them the best package.

Olynyk is one of the most "average" player in the league

It's ridiculous to call him good or bad, he's perfectly neutral on both sides

I'd gauge his value to the smart teams.

Relatively unique offensive skill-set tho.

I have to say that Josh Jackson's agent made the right move by having him not workout for the celtics, that s.f rotation is horrible if you're a newbie considering you're a 4th string player, probably get like 12minutes at the most in your rookie year & by next year have no value caue everything thinks you are horrible all because you can't get minutes.

OKC added a top 15 player
HOU added a top 10 player

SAS and GSW

top 4 was never live even if Hayward stayed.

IMO the Hayward signing just highlights how big a mistake they made on draft night. Hayward/Crowder are wings and locked up for awhile, they also already have Jaylen Brown a young wing who I assume they're not giving up on. Meanwhile they have 1 PG (IT4) who is undersized, approaching 30, and on the last year of his deal. If they kept their pick and drafted Fultz/Ball they coulda had him backup IT next year and then feel fine about letting IT walk knowing they have their pg of the future. Now they're going to have to probably resign IT to a max, and there is a huge blockade at wing where their two young guys play

Wolves should go out and get crowder
