Schedules are out.

Lakers have 35 National TV games (including NBA TV) this upcoming season. That's one more than the Mavs, Heat, & Knicks combined.

Ballmania.

They had a similar amount last year. Laker fandom runs incredibly deep, it's actually quite impressive.

And some people still think the draft isn't rigged. LOL

lakers are probably going to be a legit fun team to watch too which helps, even if they end up winning like 32 games. looks like they've had 15 and 19 the prev 2 yrs
08-14-2017 , 07:08 PM
lol seadude as always

This Lakers team reminds me of the old school Cavs team that played 4 rookies including Bobby Sura.

Lotta young guys to throw against the wall based on SL.

Maybe it was only 3 after fact-checking myself. What a dated reference too.

Phoenix ran a lot of young guys recently but I don't think too many were rookies, plus they weren't the kind of vagabonds I'm alluding to. I think Orlando with Doc might've been that way, don't know how many technical rookies tho.

afa TZ is concerned Sherer took a hiatus but that appears to be drug related.

They're like RaiderFan.

I assume YankeeFan would be the same but no salary cap.

Lakers are historically GOAT and it's not ssooooo long since they were Champs; no surprise their fans are up for the long ride - and it's an open not-secret that they probably get all the stars next off season.

49 wins, 6 seed. They will open around 43.5 to us markets and get bet up to 47 or so.

I think Jokic becomes a top 5 advanced stat guy but puts himself into top 10 overall rankings amongst casuals, they have a decent amount of national games and there is a good chance he makes the asg because the clips/pels/jazz will probably be worse. Denver has a pretty easy early schedule too.

I'll take under 47 for 100

warriors are not as good as you think they are, they only play smart but I think the rockets could out play them this year. the rockets are stacked.

You are not as smart as you think you are

Dennis Smith Jr. on Phil Jackson and the Knacks at dinner before the draft:

"We went out to some restaurant and they had me eat some octopus. Like an actual octopus tentacle. First time ever. I wasn't going to try it, honestly. They kind of put the pressure on me to do it."

PHIL master of people.

haha nah, it actually happened in 07.

the lakers always get 30+ nat'l tv games, nothing new here. it helps that espn/tnt have to fill those 10:30 et slots.

ball, ingram, randle, zubac, ennis, kuzma, hart and bryant are all 19-23 y/o.

kcp, clarkson and nance are all 24.

its still a very young team. besides deng, as far as we know he could be older than luke.

Ya, it's a full rebuild.

This is perfect for Ball to showcase early imo. He's going to get to run the show. I still think his ceiling on a superteam is SG tho. Livingston/Kevin Martin comp isn't a top tier point guard, it maybe is as an off guard tho.

No way he puts himself top 10 with casual fans.

Durant
Lebron
Harden
Rwb
Curry
Leonard

Are locks to be better in casuals eyes. Then you have butler/Davis/Kat/towns/giannis as likely players that most people think are better than jokic. I think if he's in the top 20 talk by casuals might happen next year but being in Denver isn't going to help things.
08-14-2017 , 08:58 PM
It's just like in MLB where certain body types prohibit a guy from staying at SS as they age or whatever.

He's not quick enough for that position to hold it down solely.

Casuals have Kyrie > Jokic.

Member: these are the same ppl that have Kobe > LeBron
