derail alert: so KD said Kyrie was better than AI and some of my friends lost their ****ing mind. Is there a single person here who would take AI over Kyrie?

AI is probably a better option on a really ****ty squad. Kyrie is definitely a better option on a good/great team. There are a lot of people who really love Iverson--midget who lead the league in scoring and lead his **** squad to the finals.

I don't think Kyrie does very well leading the team when Lebron is on the bench as the defacto #1 option on a **** team. Kyrie does well as a 2nd option when Lebron is #1.

AI lead a pretty scrubby team to the finals. Even though the east was weak still was impressive on that team. Cant see Kyrie ever doing that in his place.Ai is the better alphadog but Kyrie is a better sidekick on a good team.

I always thought westbrook was a lock to become a laker and think kupchak/buss messed it up somehow. I would settle for dame at this point I guess.

I take AI over Kyrie. Kyrie is overrated as much as AI underrated. Adjusting for era and better coaching, AI would be fine on a good team.

So much this. AI played in an era with no spacing on a team with no shooting. AI in this era would be unstoppable. AI was able to force steals and Kyrie is one of the worst defenders I have ever seen.

Kyrie is absolute trash.
