Booker has put on an incredible display of efficiency through two rounds, especially in the last two games. But this isn't who he is. He isn't a 51% 3 pt shooter. He isn't a guy who shoots 62% from the field. No one is. But he almost has to be that guy in order for the Suns to come out of the west.
Agree re Suns, obviously very fragile with the workload of those 2.
I said before the series I liked Suns in 7 as Book/KD will do enough to score vs a Jokic team. But then CP died and it just seemed like perhaps a bridge too far.
You give Den a slight edge w/ HC but these teams are pretty equal I think. Phx has a higher upside with Book/KD and if their roleplayers can play OK, but also a lower downside in that they are entirely reliant on 2 guys and then mixing and matching like 7 other roleplayers and trying to find anyone to have a good night (Shamet, Ross, Landale, Warren being the 1's that are playing OK right now)
One thing I will say when at the beginning of the series many liked Denver is that I think way too many people overreacted to the Suns struggles in that Clippers series. I mean, you signed up for a series with the Clippers then Kawhi died and all of a sudden Russ is their #1? You know you're winning that ****, there is gonna be intensity issues/playing with the food a little for a team that just came together and has to push so hard to win. But with CP healthy, I do think Suns are/were the better team.
