solid chance of busto but thats a risk the Clippers need to take because there are only so many teams in win now mode

I mean seriously, did we just see a trade of last year's #1 for two expiring middling players to a team with 7 depth pieces that are just as good or will be ahead of them on the depth chart due to being drafted high?

I don't get it, what's the end-game Tings? What is the median outcome for the 76ers in say 2019?

I guess he's expecting to get Lebron too. Pretty sure some of the moves are just trolling.

Either way I like the idea of trades just because this draft would be boring without. It's kind of interesting to see how some of these teams would look if someone's job wasn't on the line.

Take KoD, I think he's doing the sensible thing by flipping RHJr, Levert, and Spender for #10/#29. Yes those players are youngish and decent, but in reality none of them have a chance to be much more than above-average starters, and trading them for two rooks right now ups your ceiling in two ways--the #10 pick variance and getting much much worse next year.

I can even see how Memphis would do something more win-now like dropping down to flip Parsons for Covington and #10. This gives them a decent chance to still compete next year, which by all accounts is what they are trying to do, whilst still getting a decent draft pick in a year where 4-14 seems to be fairly close.

Grizzlies really going to trade down to gamble on the chance to lose in the 1st round? Grizz need to blow things up.

Bucks send Eric Bledsoe ($14.5), Cody Zeller ($1.7), Pick #17

Cavs send George Hill ($20) and Pick 8

GM Lebron gives two thumbs up.

Median? That is dumb. What I am doing is putting the best team together for now and the future. I know what I will get from Tobias Harris and I'll gamble on Porter, 2 lottery picks and max cap space over going with a guy who has the yips, a guy who made $3,000,000 in his life and then $27,000,000 in one year (roco) while improving my bench 1-4 with the Brooklyn guys

Not getting 10, but getting decent and reasonably young players (RoCo 27; TJ 26; Holmes 24) that are ready to contribute w/Conley/Gasol and could be long-term pieces after those guys age. Plus shedding Parsons and adding another couple top 40 bullets to fill in core.

Memphis should still be trying to win a playoff series and this move doesn’t sacrifice the future, rather bolsters it.

Healthy Conley/Gasol/RoCo/Reke is live to win high 40s and spike the 4th seed. If Conley and/or Gasol breaks then they’ll be primed for a bottom 5 finish anyway.

Oh derp.. Ok I like it less long-term but it fits what we've seen from Memphis and is obviously good short-term value for them. Probably live to win in the 50's tbqh.

Damn this is a really interesting spot for the Knicks.

They could go for Trae Young's high ceiling and hope he thrives in the NYC spotlight.

They could fill an obvious void at SF with Mikal Bridges (who DeanOnDraft dislikes but I still think is a promising prospect).

They could sure up the middle with Wendell Carter who could be the next Al Horford, a guy who does everything good.

And Shae Gilgeous-Alexander could fit quite well with Ntilikina on the perimeter. I mean all that length plus it would take pressure off of Frank's need to be a primary playmaker.

Everything considered, GM McLovin will select Shae Gilgeous-Alexander for HOUSE KNICKS.

Edit: It was really close for me between SGA and Mikal Bridges but I think Porzingis will thrive with someone who can get him the ball in the right spots plus I couldn't pass up his length as a guard. Knicks can look to acquire another 3+D prospect elsewhere. Either through free agency or the 2019 draft.
