Thayer you gotta know when you're beat. The Knicks have run good with injuries, run good in close games, gotten better than expected performances from Rose/Jennings/OQuinn/Holiday, and have played as many home games as road games, and still have a losing record. They ****ing suck and have basically no road to improvement this year beyond a huge mid-season Staps jump or team chemistry, neither of which seem likely.

Are you guys using a real doubling cube? That's awesome. For the snap redouble, some play you can "beaver".

In money games, if someone doubles you, and you think it is a bad double and you are actually favored to win the game, you are allowed to immediately redouble but hold on to the cube. This is called a Beaver. In other words, let's say someone gives you the cube at 2 and you think you are actually favored, you can immediately turn it to 4 and still hold the cube, so that you have the ability to turn it back to 8 the next time it's your turn, or at a later time if you prefer.

But someone didn't find this to be exciting enough, and they invented the Raccoon. Let's say that you give someone the cube at 2, and they Beaver, keep the cube and turn it to 4. And let's say that you think they are wrong to do this, that you are actually a big favorite and they have made a mistake. You can then Raccoon, which means they still keep the cube, but it goes to 8.

What do you mean? I assumed once you accepted initial doubling cube offer that it permanently came into play, and now I hold its option.

Ok maybe I should adjust my KaT vs Embiid rankings.

I don't get the Wolves at all, I felt they'd be a lock u41 wins and bet accordingly, but they've been downright terrible some games and good but lose others. Part of me thinks this is some weird form of stealth tanking they are doing.
