Why don't teams when they have a lead with more than 2mins left exploit the 5 second inbound rule to run more clock before having to use the shot clock? The clock keeps running after makes until the 2min mark, why not use 4 of the 5 seconds you have before you inbound it to burn more clock?

Is there a point to Stotts calling the time out after the get the ball off the turnover if he's just going to draw an iso for Dame? It's not that a Dame iso there is bad but seems like they could have had that in the live ball situation after the turnover and had the Mavs D more out of position and scrambling around.

Well winning 1 playoff series in the West is different than winning 1 in the East obviously. But besides that..what is your point? Hayward and Hill are both perfect players to stick next to stars, they could absolutely be pieces on title teams. Both are capable defenders/shooters/passers, they could adapt in any situation- as Hill has proved twice going to new teams and immediately making them better. So if your point is that literally any team Hayward & Hill is incapable of winning, you're wrong.

If your point is really just LOL Hayward & Hill bc if they're 2 of the best players on a team their ceiling is capped at round 2 in the West then congrats you're talking about just about every player in basketball except like 10. Winning a play-off serie in the east means you are a top 12 team itl, winning a serie in the west means you are a top 6 NBA team

Yeah nothing wrong with being a top 6 team ITL, and maybe they get a little run good with a Favors trade or him coming back stronger.

I was against the hill trade and still am to an extent, but I completely understand it given where they were at with their free agents.
