Me too! The Elway spinning first down run gets me every time. Their loss in the 1991 championship game was the nut low of my sports fan career and I'm not ashamed to admit I cried a little then. I was really young fwiw

when the phillies won, i got real wasted and rioted in the streets. don't know where all this crying business comes from.

is this a level?

Fwiw when my fb team finally won a super bowl I was really close to shedding tears.
yeah I never actually cried over sports (well, not since I turned 11) but I teared up twice during the last football season. number one was finally beating Favre at Lambeau, such a huge moment for me especially since at the time we all thought the Vikings were the team to beat. second was beating the Bears in the NFCCG. Super Bowl obviously was awesome too but that was more drunken shouting/high fiving strangers

He's just having fun, mang. Why so serious?

But in all seriousness, yes, yes he does.

i wouldn't have to educate people on peyton manning if they accepted he wasnt the goat and was a natural born loser like lebron.

Guess Brady is becoming very Manning-like in the playoffs lately. 0-3 in his 3 last playoff games. When his D isn't GOATing, Brady isn't the GOAT either.

Kinda sad that the SE football and basketball goats only have one rang between them

this is pretty clear to anyone who is not a biased bahhston homer. since bb designed the team around utilizing brady, they have been epic chokes. he got his reputation undeservedly by game managing and riding the coattails of a historically megaelite defen$e.

Flipped a coin and Epi won the "ban for trolling or not" decision, but toeing the line.

this is seriously ridiculous, my "trolling" is pretty much accurate (i'll leave open the slight chance i'm wrong since i'm not always right) and not even trolling. I've only trolled about a few things on 2p2, peyton manning is not one of them for the most part (since i'll admit I started to exaggerate in the peyton manning thread a year ago but the peyton manning fanboys were exagerrating as well). I mean why not ban someone like bobbo if ur goin that route, his opinions are far moar ridiculous and way moar likely to be trolling than mine.

sporting events, where calling kevin love a top 5 player and amare a league average player is not considered trolling but calling out lebron/peyton manning for being losers who underachieve their natural talent and correctly calling both of them not the GOAT is.

Calendar time. Discussion of feigned innocence in FAQ.

I obviously get the comparison you are trying to make but i still think it is pretty poor, and the only real similarities between bron and peyton is that their playoff/championship resume's are well below their regular season ones. Manning had a pretty great SB against NO, it certainly doesnt support your argument of him being a choker and it's too early to be calling lebron a natrual born loser. This is the one year of his career where his team should have won and didn't, and while much of it was due to him it's a pretty harsh reaction for people to be calling him a choker/loser as if this was some long running trend.

Do people forget what LeBron did in the playoffs in '07, '08, and '09.

2008 especially, negative SRS during the regular season and they outplayed the Celtics Big 3 (one of the top ten teams ever IMO) and barely lost in 7 games.

2007 he took them to the Finals with that epic performance versus Detroit.

2009, they lost because Orlando didn't miss anything, but 37.4 PER has got to be good for something.

I cried like a baby when Ewing missed the finger-roll.

I think I almost cry at the end of Rocky.
