Replace the player and team names and his "argument" makes as much sense defending the Heat game last night as it does that C series. (although he won't see if that way as evidenced by his comment about this series going 7 lulz)

Refs suddenly don't love you anymore?

Cs fans want it both ways. The '08 title they got MAJOR benefit of the doubt on D + their offense involved KG and Perkins impersonating fullbacks. I wish '05 Pistons and '08 Celtics could play a series so each team could hack the **** out of each other with no fouls called.

So yeah, Miami is getting calls at the level of '03 Lakers, '06 Miami, and the former 2 teams, and it's hard to win a series against these teams when the officials have set a certain "tone." It's almost enough to make a man become a hockey fan. At least home court calls and superstar treatment matter very little in that sport. If only it didn't suck so much on TV. Live is awesome.

The C's weren't losing game seven anyways so why is this all that important.

this forum is funny. sounds like a bunch of guys that have never touched a ball before in their life. ever played against someone better than you? what do you do? you foul the f%ck out of them. it isn't coincidence that the more athletic or better teams are the ones seemingly getting the benefit of the whistle.

its pretty hard for the games to be rigged, but i do think the refs have subconscious biases. im sure the refs talk together outside of the game just like we do as fans, and some of this comes out, but not really on purpose. but outright rigging, nah. then again there were no wmds.

you need to read the last few pages and realize that is exactly what people were implying, which btw, is the only reason I posted on the subject.

I bet I am the only one on the side that I think that the Celtics are just old and old men foul and thought that in the early going when Doc was angry saying that was "5 to 0" in fouls I actually thought that the Celtics were still getting away with calls.

Was watching with my dad and he is (but skipped this year) a patched HS ref and when he was working a game a coach said this to a ref working with him.

"I don't count em, I just call em"

hand vs bk

"this is bicylekick as opponent he playing nolimit like me old school limit but he is younger and i have a read on him. he has let go of money and pokers. he has also let go of the letting go of money and poker. I also read him as unattached to the letting go of letting go of money and pokers' dharmas. And in all of this he is somewhat disinterested (in the non attachment to the letting go of letting go of money and poker's). So he is on level 4.

I of course have penetrated all dhammas poker and otherwise with diamond sharp wisdom aided by concentration of formless jhana trance. Plus I never really play anymore and am waiting for Get Shorty to start in 10 min."

celtics were -4.5 in game 6 of the '08 nba finals

heat were -8 in game 1 of this years ECF.

edit: also according to this the lakers were -180 to win the finals and according to this the heat were -600 to win this series before it started.

obviously betting lines aren't the end all be all or w/e but at the same time the discrepancy in lines seem to make your whole 'celtics were never losing that series so x bad calls dont matter' and 'celtics coulda made this a series so x bad calls do matter' points kinda moot/dumb/biased.
