Re: NBA ECF: Heat vs Celtics
I don't think I've ever seen the full version of the 'not 1, not 2, not 3, ...', but they just showed a little longer version on SC, and damn did Riley look uncomfortable during that.

Meh, Celtics got their ring and Pierce, Rondo, and Garnett are extremely easy to dislike. Plus I have shared a hotel room with Erik Spoelstra before and it's pretty clear if they lose this series he is a goner and may never have a decent HC job again so I'm rooting for him (whether he deserves it or not).

Re: NBA ECF: Heat vs Celtics
after the heat lose tonight I am going to pretend that the lockout never ended and this season never happened, only way I can go on living knowing those under performing lazy heat still didn't get it done.

eta- regardless of what happens, wouldn't trade this 5 year run for 5 consecutive ships from a super talented team that sucks as a team.

So much fail
The biggest lol is you thinking trading to make your team better is a bad thing

It is funny that I got so much **** for having ASU in the Top 10 for a few weeks that everyone completely ignored me being right on what the actual best team was. Picked Bama in the preseason, and held onto it the entire year.

The dumbest part isn't even the "not 1, not 2, not 3..." part, but when LeBron says "The way we are going to challenge ourselves in practice, once the game starts, it's going to be easy."
Seriously, it's way too easy to hate on them for this garbage.

wtf, I somehow missed that.
Yeah, the Celtics didn't trade for Lebron and HGH, but they did trade for KG and Ray Allen two hall of famers with absolutely no connection to the Celtics, that you now love as if they played their whole careers there. It's completely delusional to think that you wouldn't love to have HGH and Lebron and that you wouldn't feel the same about them, specially considering they're two young guys with many more years to spend playing in Boston.

Only Hollywood I see around here is Cs fan saying they are moar interested in their little underdog, last hurrah storyline than winning ballgames.

Re: NBA ECF: Heat vs Celtics
Hard for me to conceive of what kind of ****ed up childhood would lead to someone being a heat or labron fan. To a person they appear to be the most pathetic sniffing entitled spiteful motley crew of societys bitter rejects I've ever encountered. Pretty much mirroring the heat players themselves (albeit successful in life). I actually feel deeply sorry for them for the shifty hand fate dealt them, so if the heat somehow pull this off (unlikely as they are a broken and exposed team) I will be ok with it since heatfans will have a moments reprieve from their cowardly existences.

Yeah, you really went out on a limb there when you picked the consensus preseason #2 to finish #1.
Of course you're going to get **** when you keep ranking .500 teams at or near the top of their respective leagues.
I would like to hear how Miami is so good that they are a lock to sweep these next two games and then also a lock to beat an OKC team they are not appreciably, if at all, better than and will not have home court against.

Maybe people who actually follow a player throughout their entire career instead of waiting until there's an ESPN special 7 years into their career before deciding if they like them or not. I've been a big fan of LeBron ever since his rookie year just due to his amazing athleticism. I remember getting downright furious with people who were arguing that Melo should be ROY over Bron and was gonna have a better career because he's a "winner". LOL.
