it's not a hedge fanboy. you're just reaching now with the kobe stuff. said he played terribly late in games 2/4. he also closed out games 3 but w.e right. they just got beat by a better team, it happens.

and ive always admitted to being a bron hater, whats new about that. the spoiler is a **** that ive used 4 games in a row. but u mustve missed it. and arent you the one constantly posting (in sz) all the lyrics to songs pip/tut listen to?

It actually happened 4x, but Boston missed out on the other chance.

I didn't count the times Wade did it, and Boston scored, but he was definitely guilty of this as well.
LeBron and Wade are too busy flopping and whining to play basketball. Just ****ing play, man. Stop acting like celebrities first and basketball players second.

I feel bad for LeBron for apparently losing the ability to take over games and play like the best basketball player in the ****ing world when it matters most.

Also, as much as I think game 6 will be rigged for Miami, it is also possible that they just give up and quit, especially if Boston gets to a lead early.

no its the other way around. lebron needs to gtfo of this situation. hopefully he gets freed this offseason but i think he will be smart enough to opt out in 2014 from this hopeless organization.

Re: NBA ECF: Heat vs Celtics

I'm sure you all know this, but I never really did:

From Boston Herald, 3/15/2001:

Quote:
'Long after the Lakers' victory over Boston last week, O'Neal lingered
in the locker room. He pulled a Boston reporter over and gestured
toward his notepad.

"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth." '
as a side note - amazing a guy who was pretty damn quotable as a player is so horrendous on tnt

It's crazy that not one of those guys will look back on this miami team in a positive light. I've said this about Bosh for some time, but victor is right. Bron made the biggest mistake. And I'm not sure the damage is reparable. In his Cleveland days, the cliche un-clutch tag was demonstrably false. The guy was an end-game nightmare, and any pass he made led to a better opportunity for his team to win. Now he's bought into all the talk. He's much more passive. His passes have less direct impact and are more akin to hot potato.

Also, thinking about all this earlier today made me realize how underrated the labron/varejao pairing was (and to a lesser extent big z). The '09 cavs were a legit better squad than anything miami has trotted out in 2 years.

I agree on all counts, KC

I've been thinking the labron/varejao pairing was way underrated ever since the Heat started playing games.

The heat are not even going to show up tomorrow.

When the C's get a big lead the refs are gonna abandon the Heat riggage and just let them get pwned.

I don't expect rigging. Heat I think have burned their bridges with the league and aren't the golden ticket to ratings. All of a sudden, America seems to be in love with the scrappy underdog geriatriCeltics.

Game 4 was apparently the highest rated NBA game of all time.

Only the Heat could pull America together to root for a team from Boston.

Like this is anything other than further incentive to rig. If you think ratings are high now, think how mad people will be and how hard they will be rooting against the Heat after they shoot 100 free throws in the next two games.

I'll tell you one thing. You'll never find a Piston fan who thinks Labron is not clutch. What he did vs us in 06 (forcing a much superior Piston's team to the brink before finally losing in gm 7) and what he did vs us in 07 (beating a superior Piston's team in 6) highlighted by one of the greatest clutch performances of all time (that still give's me nightmares):

I'm not the least bit concerned about officials. The jungle is gonna be rocking. Expect wire to wire domination, with maybe a brief scare towards the end.

why do ppl just post random things without doing a simple google search?

that is not true either - i think for total viewers it was the 2nd highest rated NBA playoff game on cable (vs. being on a broadcast network like ABC/NBC). really just a nit tho - overall point is heat ratings are huge

america is tuning in to watch lebron get owned. that it happens to be the celtics makes it an even better story.
