I think it's made worse for Lebron becuse he came straight from high school to superstardom. But IDK, Tracy Mcgrady always seemed like a really cool guy.

It also pisses me of that he's been shoved down my throat every day for ten years now. Coupled with his narcissism, it's really annoying. Maybe I'm looking for reasons to dislike him because of this, who knows?

I'm just saying the "at peace" feeling is independent of that.

im not upset at all either totally at peace they gave it their all. agreed 2010 sucked because they were so close to a ship and the perk injury was a bad beat man and it was the lakers. here, tbh man okc is pretty damn loaded and a bad matchup for c's. better chance vs spurs but okc just man kg cant just score down low and they protect the rim and of course just bombs away and run like the wind. so they got further than we thought and could hope for but werent ever that close in my mind to the ship.

Oops, Chris. Don't know how I got that particular brainfart. And agree with the rest. I think they should have had KG at center from day 1 of the season. But Wilcox was supposed to be the relief big. Then Jermaine. Steamboat and Hollins were literally options 4 and 5.

ugh, grunching after this cause its just so right. I dont understand how people are so flippy flop on a ****ing poker forum. After game 5 it was just a free for all of toppling on lebron but after 6 and now its oh GOAT. Lebron is obviously one of the best players of all time...but its quite simple. Kobe doesnt belong in the conversation with lebron whatsoever, and i was rooting for the celtics tonight. Not as a C's fan but as a Ray fan. Not to be condenscending(sp?) but if you've played ball competitively you're definitely seeing lebrons advantage on everybody, theres no need to ever hate on his clutchness and i absolutely believe in that fake ass ****. It definitely exists, and he'll develop over time, right now? He'll continue to dominate with or without the ball, hes just such a ****ing sick player.

With regards to the pscyhology of him..and i am one...the dude was treated as the chosen one for quite some time. Give him a break. He seems like a reasonable dude with regards to what he actually has to face on an everyday basis. Ya, he is quite unlikeable if you were his "friend" but compared to a dude like Jordan or Iverson? Those guys were ****ing *******s, no doubt. He is maturing, Wade being around him doesnt neccissaraily hep, but some guys take more time to mature than others and i sincerely believe he will get over it. He is a bit of a choker, but not enough of one to mention.

Just because the majority (read: stupid people) think it's true, doesn't mean it's a fact. LeBron is better than Wade is pretty much every facet of the game yet, people can't get over the "kiss the rings" argument. It's like the sort by wins argument for pitchers in baseball. Sometimes you play amazingly well over and over and over, and the other guys around you **** the bed.

Though something has to be up with Pierce.
This. 2010 I was a wreck. Pretty sure I ate a pint of ice cream and didn't play Poker (lol, I used to play Poker) for like a week. I was devastated. I really, really thought we would win. And while losing was bad... losing to the Lakers was agony.

Tonight, eh... we got no bench production. They did (OK, so Bosh isn't the "bench," but make this Haslem/Battier instead). It happens. When Rondo got like 20/10/15 with only a single trip to the line, Pierce and Allen hit their first four 3's, and you get nothing from Pietrus, what can you do?

I'm actually more optimistic than last year. 2011 I thought was our last chance. Now, if they re-sign KG, Bradley and Green get healthy, we pick up another little piece or two... doesn't look so bad in the Eastern Conference.

Also, I should point out to all the people who keep on insisting that Lebron is no worse than any other superstar that Lebron is the only one who got a "Chosen One" tattoo on his back. Most people develop an overlarge ego in the NBA; Lebron came in with one.

It seems like the sort of thing that he should have figured out himself. Lebron was blowing by him every single time down the court. Even if every coach was telling him to get up in Lebron's guts, he should have realized that it wasn't gonna work out for him. It was like watching a bird fly into a glass window, get up, then fly right back into the same damn glass window OVER AND OVER.

This might have been true pre-lockout. Not now though. There's just no way the Thunder will be able to keep Durant, Westbrook, and Harden together when they're all on max deals. (And if you don't think Harden's getting max offers from several teams, you're ****ing insane.) Taking any one of them off, and try to fill in the minutes with someone like Eric Maynor or Daequan Cook, and you'll see that team start to fall in a hurry. Not like they still won't be in contention for a championship, but they definitely won't be the lock favorites they would be if they could keep the whole band together.
