Wade was injured half a year w/ shaq, then a full yr. Then shaq was injured half a year, then he demanded a trade (and he was at that pt a shell of his former Kobe self.) And they played against the pistons every year, who beat the lakers you're talking abt. Around that he's had basically aids and/or been a rookie, aside from this and last season. (the Sean Marion yr, Caron butler odom playoff yr, jermaine oneal lool year, etc)

No only that but after a scary season ending injury where most ppl consider him done, he comes back with a historically elite season.

Wades legacy is basically untouchable. Difference between wade and Kobe is that in their finals wins Wade was the best player on their team. Which could change next few yrs but wouldn't do anything but enhance his resume or casual fan anyway.

i agree with mburke+victor. win rang + finals mvp there's not really much anyone can say no matter how bad he chokes this yr. nobody will mention dirk getting swept first round this year. he will prob be underrated overall due to staying in college longer and a few crappy seasons but anyone who's being paying attention knows that wade was pretty ultraelite for a pretty nice stretch there, was a top 3 player and was often better than kobe. i think casualfans often don't give him the credit he deserves for being great. i weight peak highly so i'll prob regard wade more highly than most when it's over
