Just watched it again (Lebron's sixth). Looked like a clear foul when I was watching on TV, now it seems like ~80% against Pietrus/20 against Lebron. At any rate, he was definitely due for a few bad calls going against him anyway, especially after G2. Would have preferred more blatantly rigged, like he's on his way to the basket and gets punched in the face and no call (like what pretty much happened to Rondo), but this makes things almost even in terms of officiating.

When I watched it the first time, I thought they were already on their way down when Pietrus put his arm around him to secure himself or something, now it looks like he clearly had his hand hooked around Lebron's torso.

Cant really complain that Lebron fouling out lost you the game.

Miami minus Bosh and Bron is a terrible, terrible offensive team. Of course they're not going to be able to score with him on the bench. The thing about the 6th foul is while it clearly should have been a foul on Pietrus, I can at least understand how the referee who was shielded from the play by Pietrus would have at least thought it was an offensive foul. The 5th foul was just beyond terrible. Clear, clear foul on Garnett from any angle that was whistled as a double foul for god knows what reason.

Just re-rewatched it and it look like Lebron got Pietrus before they got hooked, which wasn't called. So it's more like 50/50 to me now.

It's pretty hard to distinguish when two guys are jockeying for position and constantky grabbing/pushing each other.

May be true. These are very good refs, would be at least the third time this game they immediately corrected their mistake and got the make-up call in on the same play. Lesser refs take several minutes to get the make-up calls in and totally disrupt the game.
