it def has merits in places, but you see coaches over-use it a ton. that's all i'm saying. Quisy using it there after being (correctly) over-aggressive going for a steal was def correct.

Joey Crawford and Bill Kennedy will always turn big games into this, for the record. They get way too involved, make a few mistakes, and then are constantly trying to make up for it.

It wasn't just one bad foul on LeBron though. It was three. 3rd, 5th, and 6th fouls were all absolutely terrible, ridiculous calls. I guess to be fair, this kinda thing has happened to Dwight (and before him Shaq) in big games a decent amount, but I've never seen this many bad calls on a perimeter player to decide a game. And even if you ignore the LeBron calls, Celtics were still up at least 5 whistles. Refs decided this game MUCH, MUCH more than Game 2.

No kidding...why does espn have the worst of NBA analysis...I really like espn for everything (college football, nfl minus Hoge and Berman), baseball, etc, etc, but then, Jalen ROse??

On LeBron for posting up or on Pietrus for grabbing LeBron around the midsection and pulling him to the ground? And FWIW, as bad as that call was, the double foul with KG for his 5th was like 5x worse.
