It's not just a matter on unleashing Rondo. He's taken the most shots on the team today. It's matter of actually helping Rondo, who is obviously the only offensive chance the Celtics have. By "unleash" I don't mean shoot a lot (although he will probably have a decent number of attempts if he plays as aggressively as they need him to), I mean attacking and taking chances on O and in transition.
It probably wouldn't have mattered tonight--Cs just too tired vs rested younger Heat--but if Doc is ok with Rondo turning it over 5-7 times in order to make the offense go, then BOS has a decent chance.
