Re: NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs: Cavaliers vs Celtics

boston's bench must be awful for them to have 4 top 30 players and be the 4th seed in the east.

well it is, and to make matters worse doc (being his ******ed self) played all 5 bench players at the same time throughout the regular season and he has stopped doing that in the playoffs which has helped a ton

not to mention boston had a lot of injuries this year as well, ppl forget that before kg got hurt i think they were like 23-5 or something like that. also even with the injuries boston's starting 5 when they were on the court were the best in the league with like 20 games to go in the reg season (thats what kbfc said, not sure if anything changed in the last 20 games but if it did i'm sure boston still was at least top 3)

if cleveland wins we have 2 of the better one on one defenders to match up against Lebron in pietrus and barnes. Shaqis getting old but still prolly has thebest chance at at least somewhat holding dwight back, but dwight is MUCH too fast for him, so i predict quick foul trouble for shaq, and then anderson v needs help against dwight (when he doesent get the calls quick on his flops)
double team dwight? what for? perk has always played great d on dwight

i'm just saying the magic are red hot. they could obviously falter like the cavs did last year in the ECFs if they get injured or have a matchup issue.

Re: NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs: Cavaliers vs Celtics

Tony Allen has played really well off the bench, and FFD has played well in spurts as well.

As far as Boston getting old, they've been old. Ray Allen is showing no signs of being old though, he's shot fine, and I love how he's playing defense. KG has had his on/off moments, but big deal. Boston has to play just as good, if not better, to win this series. They can't have an off night an still win a game.

More SSOL and run hotter from three.

PP needs to go to the hole a lot stronger if he's expecting to get a bail-out call.

That was a walk on Shaq, not a foul. Ugh.

there's a big missed call. Not only a miss, but it sends perk to the bench with 2 fouls

Glad to see PP pulled his head out of his ass. Don't see why they're not letting Allen get the ball against Mo

No **** Fratello. Of course Doc is playing a lineup he never used during the 82 games. It's Doc.

I think it was a foul and then a walk, so the basket shouldn't have counted but the foul was before.

Also, I'm just a casual fan here, but I still don't understand how Cleveland can go a possession with out lebron even touching the ball...and yet they seem to do it frequently.

I don't understand why anyone's that upset by two on Perk.

It's not like Ashy Shack is going to win this game.

I can agree with that. Giving him the and-one is frustrating though.
