everything about his demeanor and his press interviews makes it appear that he does not give a ***.

i would absolutely be shocked if he even attempted to dominate.

But pretty pathetic to see everyone **** the bed on their homecourt. They are NBA players. I'm jumping on the Moe Williams hate wagon.

It's obviously Lebron's fault that Rondo is drinking Mo/Delonte/WTP's milkshake any time he wants.

To be honest, I never thought Boston was going to win the series until midway through the third quarter last night.

Even now, I worry of James going off tomorrow night. A game seven in Cleveland is not an enticing thought.

no. he doesnt get it. and neither do any of you.

i will admit that tanking was inappropriate word choice. mebbe even quitting is wrong. but to anyone who has watched lebron throughout his career, it is redic apparent that his demeanor and attitude is drastically different.

its unfair to blame his mates for the change. this crew is much better than the old clowns like wally, gooden, tractor traylor, etc, and i never saw anything close to this display.

Ok but you really don't think pride will play into it at all? He's the sports story today. He's being called everything from a pussy to a quitter. Even if he's pissed about his teammates or thinks(knows) they're going to get smashed by the Magix, you think don't think he throws down at least one final FU game?

Isn't it strange people aren't talking more about his elbow? Someone earlier brought up that Lebron threw up some ugly looking shots. Before the series, I thought the elbow injury was overblown, but given his game5 performance, to me it's a much simpler/more likely explanation, than whatever DrPhil explanation people have about Lebron's mentality. The guy has flat out dominated in important games. He dropped 40 on the Celtics in a game 7 loss. He dropped like 25 straight on the Pistons.

it's fine to blame him some for the loss last night. he didnt play well at all and looked pretty sluggish. he should get a lot of the blame, but to blame everything on him is pretty ridiculous imo.

i mean, ffd played well last night, and sheed played well in game 2, and tony allen has played well. all of this coming from a bench that is one of, if not the worst out of all of the playoff teams.

nobody else on the cavs have really stepped up. mo williams is a doormat, antawn is doing his best against a guy much bigger than him, and av not playing minutes has hurt as well(he must have some injuries setting him back, but idk maybe brown is a moron).

you make it seem like im saying something outlandish. pretty much everyone in cleveland, all the local reporters and insiders, and all the national media is saying the same thing.

as much as i hate to say it, adrian wozc wrote a pretty good article: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_yl...broncavs051210

Well put as always, Steroid Boy.

As I haven't been paying much attention to this series as I don't care about it very much, it still is pretty amazing how everyone is already considering it over. It is another good example of this forum wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy overreacting to the outcome of the most recent game.

I wasn't following this thread after game three but assume it was basically "gg Celts, you got your one variance win, time to break up the band". Now the narrative is suddenly about the Cavs being terrible.

Perhaps most everyone is just prone to saying how much the losing team sucks after each game.

The moment? Listen, I'm a real fan, been a fan of cleveland all my life, gave up on the Indians after they choked game 7 with 2 outs. They went downhill into the pits and maybe came back against boston but lost that series even though they were up 3-1.

Browns? Loved them back in the kosar years, but they choked.

Now it's the basketball turn, The "Savior" had 7 years to get his crap together and bring a ring for this city in peril. This WAS the chosen year, this was titled his championship year. All I see now is 2nd round exit.

So I have given up on pretty much all cleveland sports teams throughout my life, because they really have not given the fans anything to cheer about, except maybe best home season record. Whoppee doo da day. What a great accomplishment! Sorry, my relationship for the cavs ends tonight. You don't go down for the count in a 32 point differential loss in a "pivotal" game. This team has absolutely no choice, and "The chosen one" lebron seems to have already made up his mind. 3-14? Toss in the towel guys, this one is over with.

I'm switching to some other team, maybe Orlando. At least they have their game together, not this mess of a team we call the cavaliers. Oh...and this is me not hitting the door on the way out. Love this town, but the sports franchises are in the pits. Later bron, take this coach with you and choke elsewhere, and give us a team that at least shows a disappointment during the regular season instead of giving their all and totally not showing up in the end. Way to go.
i'll chalk that up to it being 3am after that ****ing debacle of a loss.

if not, good riddance. but don't let me catch you celebrating when they come back and move on sunday.

pure awful last night. made me sick.

Yeah, good point. I definitely agree that people are way overreacting to this game. I mean the Celtics are only a 1 point favorite for Game 6, the series is nowhere close to over. I did think it was kind of an interesting point by Hollinger though that both of the Cavs wins where LeBron played great came when they had extra rest, and all the bad games the Celtics won were with only one day of rest. If it really is the elbow that's bothering him, that's a bad sign for Game 6 in Boston where LeBron will once again only be working on one day of rest.

Celts have lost 1 series up 3-2, and that was last year. Obviously results oriented. 2 of the 3 losses the Magic had were by 1 and 4 respectively (other was a blow out by 18). So the losses were atleast competitive. This year neither team seems to be competitive in the losses. Then again, 3 of the 7 games between Boston and Magic last year were decided by 15+.

I honestly have no idea where this series is going. I dont' expect the Cavs to blow out Boston on the road after how poorly they have been playing but I also wouldn't be suprised to see it happen. This series is totally inconsistant play from game to game.
