i just want to point out what people were saying prior to the playoffs starting.

- Cavs def favorites, best team, best player.

- Lakers are blah. Kobe is slower, older, injured. No Bynum so they were just ok. West full of competition.

- Orlando was under the radar. Obv last year they went to the finals, and obv are a great team. But not much talk about them.

I would say the truth is much different than those general opinions.

I remember Bob Ryan and Jackie Macmullen on espn's ATH talking about Marquis Daniels return from injury like it was the make or break point for the Celts season

Whether or not I think Kobe is better than LeBron proves nothing. What matters is getting it done when it counts and right now LeBron isn't getting it done for whatever reason. The series isn't over by any stretch. Hopefully LeBron shows in game six and puts on a brilliant show as I'd really love to see a game seven in this series.

In all seriousness, Daniels played well before he hurt his thumb.

He never regained any semblance of his prior form after returning from the injury.

Lebron's form on his jumpshot sucks my balls. I realize his shooting % has improved, and yes he did shoot better than Kobe from 3 this year.

But...it is an ugly shot and it doesn't surprise me it abandons him at times.

Sure, Kobe shoots a low % sometimes, but that is mostly cause he goes into ******ed chucker mode and shoots low % shots to begin with and makes horrible decisions.

BronBron seems to just start clanking cause his shot blows.

This is all based on unscientific visual data...

Yeah, you're right. Daniels was playing very well.

I don't remember for sure so correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't he only in the rotation because Tony Allen was injured at the time, and the fact that TA is now healthy prevents him from really coming back from his prior?
