I'm confused, this just looks like random speculation on his part, not something Kobe actually said. Also looks like it's from 2 years ago?

Yeah, the media has been pimping out Kobe's finger to excuse every bad shooting night for the past two years. If he didn't want them to talk about it they wouldn't.

lol @ overrated. So what about LBJ? Other than stats he hasn't won a meaningful game in his career. How about Shaq? He won 4 'Ships but had Kobe for 3 and Wade for another, was he overrated too?

u have a lot to learn schererboy

i won't go in depth as if i did that to every poster who didn't know what was up it would be a huge waste of my time so i'll leave it short

teammates matter way more than u think. the lakers have far better teammates around kobe than the cavs do around lebron

was it lebrons fault they lost to orlando last year?

how did kobe do when he had bad teammates?

shaq was far better than kobe when they won those championships, shaq was the best player in the nba and kobe wasn't top 5.

lebron's stats >>>> kobe's in BOTH the reg season and post season

kobe is not even close to as good as the media/fanboys say, for example over the past few years guys like lebron/hgh/wade (when healthy)/cp3 (when healthy) have all been clearly better. lebron has been better than kobe for like 4-5 years as well. the last 2 years especially lebron has been far better.

epip everything you said is almost legit and since you can't measure wim with stats, you would win every case. But there is something that is measurable and both our franchises know this very well.

So what does Lebron being better than Kobe (for the first 46 mins of a game) have to do with Kobe being overrated?

Believe me I know how much teammates mean, you're not the smartest person in here when it comes to basketball so don't imply you're going to be wasting your time explaining something to me.

Teams are built around the best player, and the Cavs have built a damn good team around LBJ. That team won the most games in the Reg. season last year and this year. So why is it they can win 60+ games a year and give LBJ all this credit + MVP, but when the Playoffs come it isn't his fault if they lose to a team they're better than?

Kobe got reamed for avg. 35.4 pts a game in 05-06 when he had to carry his team, so I totally agree with some of what you say, up until these past 2-3 years LBJ didn't have a great team, but he has since then. But still, hasn't won ****.

Why isn't is LBJ's fault they lost to Orlando? When it came down to the end of the games all he did was dribble, dribble, dribble and go 1 on 5. It worked against Detroit when he scored 29 of the last 30 points an they won, he got all the praise in the world for that. But when that doesn't work, he should carry the blame that comes with it.

THIS! Until the acquisition of Gasol the Lakers could do nothing in the playoffs. Funny how everyone hating on Lebron seems to overlook this factor with Kobe. Kobe could not win on his own, it has been proven.

kobe is overrated because hes not close to a top 10 player of all time even tho tons of laker fan boys/media think he is. nor is he the best player in the game, he isn't even the 2nd best (lebron/hgh). heck he isn't even the 3rd best (healthy wade). hence the word overrated, kobe is still a great player, hofer etc but hes not as good as a lot of people think he is.

also there are stats out there (too lazy to look but they've been linked a ton) which show lebron has been better in the final 5 minutes of close games than kobe and has a higher percentage on game winning shots as well. but WHO CARES ABOUT STATS, MAN DID U SEE KOBE MISS THAT SHOT VS THE THUNDER AND GASOL TIP IT IN? KOBE WANTS IT MORE, WHAT A SICK PASS!

cause if u took lebron off the cavs they would be a 30-35 win team. it is because of lbj that they are the best team in the league. if you took kobe off the lakers they are still a 40-45 win team. and lebron lead the cavs to better records with a worse supporting cast.

check out lebron's series vs the magic, he was insane. i'm not sure how to filter out the entire series so i'll just use last years playoffs where he averaged 35.3 ppg on 61.8 TS% with 7.3 assists and 9.1 boards (all incredible numbers especially the ppg and TS%). It was not his fault they lost, infact he played ridiculous. It was his teammates who sucked (mo was beyond terrible, they had no one to stop hgh etc).

no lebron still doesn't have a great team, who is his 2nd best player? Mo Williams? Antwan Jamison? Anderson V? Those are all embarrassments to be a 2nd best player on a championship team, his supporting cast is HORRIBLE for a championship contender and was even worse last year.

see my post 2 posts above, lebron had an insane series vs orlando. he played pretty much as great as a human basketball player could play.

lol..you're insane dude.

Also, you're comparing a guy in his 14th season to a guy in his 7th. He's so much older now, LBJ & Howard haven't played half as long as him. Especially when you consider all the deep runs in the playoffs he's been apart of.

LeBron plays in the East!!!!!! Nuff said...

yea i mean i could also show him how much better lebron's stats are the past 2 years during both the reg/post season than kobe's were in his 2 best prime years (when he scored 35.4 and 31.6 ppg) but it would just fall on blind homerism ears

First 46, lol.

1) If Kobe played better in the first 46, then he wouldn't have to hit game winners

2) Before this year(Yes, including all his RANGZ), Kobe as below league average at game winners. LeBron was way above. http://www.82games.com/gamewinningshots.htm

3) LeBron was way more "clutch" thank Kobe in last year's playoffs, as well. http://www.82games.com/0809/playoffs/playoffs.htm

3) Including this year, LeBron is still much better in "clutch" http://www.82games.com/0910/CSORT11.HTM
