the more I think about it, I think the top 3 are pretty clearly
1)Bron
2)Undrafted
3)Wade

after that I don't know. tbh after the top 2 I'm not sure wades age and injuries are pretty scary

The two people that GKA/TimmayB have are the two that were my 2-3.

Going to be really interested to see what happens around 21 when I'm picking, and whether I'll have my team go really young to pick up another #1 pick and be the future future future, or snap up stars with 4-5 good years left that everybody is selling short because "zomg it's a dynasty draft i should pick jeff green".

Either way I don't think my prospects for a championship in the next 15 years are particularly good from that spot.

I'd have a hard time not going this route with the #5 pick honestly.

Yeah, I really think drafting down the order is much more debilitating than it would be in the NFL equivalent of this.

I was sort of thinking about doing a win now team, and I guess I still might

To be honest, after trying to think about the later rounds, I've realized that Isiah Thomas has got nothing on me!

John Wall will be interesting. Assuming we can talk about him now since he's been mentioned a lot already. He's a lock #1 pick (and has been on most every mock since the beginning of his HS year) and is close to a lock to being a very good NBA player imo. So in a dynasty draft, where do you take the surefire #1 draft pick?
i think off the top of my head i would consider taking him 15-30 ish. kwame brown was a stud out of high school as well imo.

I think the bust % of a 7 footer is always going to be way higher than an elite PG/SG prospect though

i dont think we should debate guys like wall, evans, jennings, etc bc there will be a large difference is rating between drafters.

there already consensus on the value of guys like lebron cp3 and wade.

cp3 at 2 is fine and debatable. esp if you think you can draft an athletic big to run the pnr with later on in rounds. i prob would have picked 1 maybe 2 over him but its pulling hairs imo

Round 1 pick 4
Wesrwood takes
Spoiler:
Kevin Durant

He is still very young and about to lead the Thunder to the playoffs. Of all of the top picks he has the most time in the league left

imo Druant is a pretty clear #2 in this format

zomg the suspense of the everyone saying "undrafted" is getting to me. Can't wait for the inane debate about who is better between #3 and #4.

#1 draft pick has enormous value in a dynasty draft. Especially one who has been a Durant-level prospect since he was like 16.

When he was a senior in high school, where would you have picked LBJ? He was 19 and unproven!

Not saying Wall is LBJ btw, but he's been scouted and looked over to that level and no one disputes he's the clear #1 pick and has been since he was running suicides in practices to start his senior year of high school
i think if wall is availabe at 20 you get pretty good value in taking him. i would just take a couple of 1 and 2 year good players over him because he is unproven, but gammmbboooool it up brah!
