lol no. Luka put up far better stats across the board in Euroleague than Cade did in college. Heck, Luka had better stats as a rookie in the NBA than Cade did in college.

Cade's absolute ceiling is Tatum with better defense and I think he's probably not going to hit that.

Am I the only one relatively out on Franz Wagner? I was higher on him earlier in the season, but I went to the B1G Tourney (which can generously be called "basketball") and I definitely think he is serviceable in a bench role, but I don't see any upside. He seems to have low BBIQ, no real concept of cutting when it is right there for him. Streaky-ish shooter.

He may benefit from the more open NBA if the shot gets more consistent. He is SUPER long though. Haven't checked the combine numbers but he has to have one of the longest arms to body ratio in this draft outside of Thor. His hands go below his damn knees, but I don't think he can be a super + defender. Seems like a decent floor, low ceiling guy, but he's getting a lot of lottery play. I think in this draft, 20-30 is a better range for him.

I also saw his play in cbb.

My consensus:

Spoiler:
I would not draft him.

He went in to the process as lower end 2nd round/UDFA. I think he will end up getting taken early second round. It will be a steal. He has Siakam or better upside imo with a Nic Claxton floor.

Absolutely flying up boards.

It's already been solved so the best minds have moved on to other things.

I believe that's still up for debate.

Haha I’ll leave that to the dating apps. Even I am surprised at how high up Thor is moving. Definitely would not mind the Hawks adding him, although they may have their eyes on Sharife with the #20 pick.

I really would love to see Thor on the Warriors, though. Especially if they got Siakam.

are they the same age?

player b definitely a bigger foul fox. competition similar?

i guess player A if they're the same age/competition levels. better blocks--assuming this is a SF/PF and less fouls is a good sign.

Player A was a college senior @ 21.2 years old on draft night

Player B would be 18.9 on draft night if the draft was held at the normal time, he did it against much better competition. These are PF/Cs

Player A is Tim Duncan

Player B is Alperen Sengun

Tim Duncan's college stats as a senior are the only ones I could brainstorm that I thought would come close to what Sengun did in Europe this year.

Likely not. On the Reddick pod he said he compares his game to Luka though. If you havent heard that I'd listen to it.

Hes somewhere in the mold of a Middleton, PG13,Tatum, with a little Luka to his game. The thing that excites me about him so much is his floor is ultra high. 6'8 7ft wingspan, high basketball IQ, one of the best shooters in the draft, a good playmaker. No way hes not at least really useful player with potiential to be a top 10 guy.

This draft is really good in general. Coming in I was happy being anywhere in the top four. I think any of the top four guys would of been a one pick last season. Mobley has everything you want in a modern big. Green is an electric athlete looks like hes going to be another Lavine/Beal type. Suggs is obv just a all-around nice looking prospect without many holes. Some other good looking guys going in the top 10-15 as well.

Cade may not be a Zion/AD level 1 pick. Hes still really worthy though. I'm geeked to get him. Weaver landed a couple good prospects in Bey/Stewert last season and we shall see what happens with Killian. I think Detroit is gonna be back in a couple seasons.

Only flaw is hes so damn skinny. Hes surely a unicorn not sure if hes generational yet though we shall see what he looks like in college. That shotblocking ability, with the way he handles and moves at that size, plus he can shoot its nuts.
