That pick could of easily been higher. The nets were only 4 games back from 3rd worst record and 1 game back from a 3 way tie with 6 7 worst records. Not even accounting for a lucky lotto bounce.

The cavs got a bad beat on that trade with IT2 and Crowder being completely useless for them and the pick only being 8.

But the overall framework, getting a pick in the possible first year of high-schoolers being allowed, and from Phoenix who might still be lottery-bound by then, all that makes it seem like an excellent deal for Philly.
zhaire might be the best athlete in the league right now. watch his youtube highlights. the dude can jump out of the building.

that trade is insane, the shift from "welp brett brown is a donk but u cant help but accept that he loves the local plug-and-play whose mom works for them"

straight to hinkie-level savagery for a way-down-the-line unprotected 1st.

sooo sick.

Speaking of the Zards, I think they should have offered up Porter for Denver's #14, Faried/Chandler/Arthur.. They could have selected Porter Jr and Zhaire and given the Wiz more gambool on a ceiling plus max space in 2019 with only Mahinmi's expiring being a roadblock (if you don't count Wall).. They probably have to eat a second or two on Arthur's contract to get out of the tax, but that seems doable. Obviously it's a pretty big drop from OPJr to what they are getting next year, but I think the young bucks would bring a level of excitement to the franchise.

Denver does it to shed 7M in salary and grab a very good, albeit very expensive role-player that fits their timeline and roster almost perfectly.

How amazing can a man be once he's freed from Colangelol

Hinkie then immediatly after Brett Brown and Philly would be styling over the league with Tatum

How do you figure they'd have Tatum?

Would have been great, but the Wiz front office would literally never make a move like that. Their goal is to be the #7 seed in the East in perpetuity.

The wizards should be looking to get rid of mahimi and WALL; not their best player OTTO PORTER

Faried/Chandler/Arthur is 34 million of nearly dead salary and would add 8.7 million to a team already over the tax. The 14th pick wouldn't be worth nearly that much on its own as a pure salary dump, before worrying about Otto. Also both these teams are bottom rung playoff teams in tax trouble. There’s not much reason for the Wiz to like it more than Denver.

If you witnessed his mother at the draft i can guarantee you this dude is roiding like there's no tomorrow, she looks like a man & was literally bigger than he is, it runs in the family to stick the needles in the butt.

Lonnie Walker will have a better career than Zhaire & Bamba will have a better career than JJJ, book it!!!
I'll take decent but not great athletic ability but with amazing intellect, basketball iq & skill>> 10/10 athlete but legit nothing else all day everyday.
