Doncic's PnR reads are advanced.

Always keep in mind he is EIGHTEEN years old and is playing against actual basketball players.

Barcelona is probably a top 5 non-nba team, i don't know how big the gap between a college team and a top euro team is and I'd be curious to see how real madrid vs duke ends up for example but duke (or any other college team) would have 0 chance that's for sure.

Point is those are some grown ups, well coached who have played competitively for a long time and to be doing it vs those players has got to count for a lot even if you think the skillset/talent is similar to other college prospects (i don't think it is)

Doncic's ball handling is what really makes the rest of his game go. He's got it on a string and it's just reflexive. Call me insane, but he somehow reminds me of Gary Payton (on offense).

This needs to happen. Top European teams against top college teams.

All the 16 Euroleague team would crush every NCAA team

Agreed, but it would be very interesting to watch individual match-ups like Doncic v. Bagley or Ayton vs. seasoned professional bigs and guards doubling down.

What's the earliest pick Trae Young can go?

Curry went 7th.

I think 8th is conceivable. but he'd have to go ahead of Knox/Williams

Doncic got that waggle. What a class

This class is looking pretty sick. I wasnt excited coming in but after seeing it playing out its looking better then last year which was a good class.

Msu Bridges and Robert Williams were projected late lotto picks last season. This season again their projected late lotto. We have 3 guys who're number 1 pick caliber or better then last seasons guys. Then a strong 4-late lotto developing.

On a team that averages 81 possessions per game, Trae Young is averaging 29 points and 9 assists per game on a TS of .635

Seriously he'll be an all star his rookie year if he goes to the East

Watchout for highlights of his game

1.Doncic

I'll be instantly a fan of the team that will draft him

What a weird prospect huh?

https://www.theringer.com/nba/2017/1...draft-position

I'm a big fan of the dudes game because he just busts his azz out there. Hes a freaky jump out the gym athlete. Obv liking the way he looks in college doesnt translate to the pro game.

Guess the question is going to be will he develop a 3 point shot. I guess a nba team will have a tough time taking him over Doncic and Ayton with the way the games played nowadays. Going to be interesting to see how his career plays out thats for sure.

That was my concern with Harry Giles. I think Bagley can definitely be a starting center.

Trae Young ended up with 31 points and 12 assists but didnt play all that much in the 2nd half since it was a 30 point blow out. Had 25 points and 10 assists at half.

Went 6/8 from 3, 4 of those NBA 3s.

Hes now averaging 28.7 points per game and 10.4 assists thru 11 games with a PER of 38.0. All tops in the nation. His usage is 36.1 which is also first in the nation.

True shooting .652. 41% from 3 on 10 attempts per game. He is just crushing the game.

His game most resembles Steph Curry but Oklahomas offense plays like the Houston Rockets offense with everyone spread out with Trae operating as the Harden role. They barely ever run any sets, its just Trae Young creating either off the dribble or with a high ball screen in the PnR. Hes especially great at beating help defenses as they start to come over with passes a step ahead of them in the middle of their rotation getting shooters easy looks, which is why he just racks up the assists every game. He reads PnR defenses really well and makes good passes. He also whips one handed passes with accuracy.

I'm thinking Trae Young should be drafted top 3 for sure, probably top 2.

Id personally draft him #2 behind Doncic at this point but theres still alot of games left so who knows.

Drafting Bagley over Trae seems like a huge mistake.

Ayton, Bamba, and JJJ have such huge upside and translatable skills/abilities that maybe you could argue drafting them over Trae. Dont think you argue drafting a college bullyballer in Bagley over Trae.

Jonathan Givony going from draftexpress to espn insider is so terrible.

Anybody can tell me what he says in his international prospect article posted today ?

Solid game yesterday from Doncic (1 rebound shy of a triple double) againt a solid Fenerbache side. Was cold from downtown (1/7) but got to the line a lot although a lot of those fouls were non-shooting

Trae Young > Bamba, Bagley, Ayton

Young Trae has a chance to be special.

Cleveland, GS, Houston, Boston all in the top 5 or 6 in made 3's per game afaik.

Bagley with a 32 21 line vs FSU. Trae Young 39 and 14 dimes.

We got a couple guys putting up videogame numbers in the NCAA this season.

Bagley also has been showing hes going to be able to hit some outside shots. Hes 10/27 from 3pt range currently.

Trae Young will get eatin up at the next level. He turns it over too much and plays no defense. Kind of reminds me of Patty Mills/Isaiah Thomas with better playmaking and more room to improve. He doesn't nearly have the ceiling of the other top prospects though.
