Always a good bet mudiay is going to go high since he's such a ridiculous athlete

His comp is Russell Westbrook
Deangelo Russell is gonobli-ish / harden-ish
Oka for is duncan-ish offensively

Who is Karl towns then? Dirkish?

Not quite sure what the best comparison for Towns is, but it isn't Dirk. Towns is currently 2-8 from three this year.

I don't really have a stance on shooting. I'm usually the voice of reason when people go overboard about spacing. I don't think players need to be great shooters, they just can't be the worst shooter ever.

I don't want to waver because my gut is usually right, but I'm starting to come around to 1. Towns. His offense has become more dominant lately and Okafor's pathetic defense has become more pronounced.

Really hope the Pistons end up with Justice Winslow if we pick in the 7-9 range.

Oh okay, because Mudiaye has been shooting worse than Elfrid

Agree with Thay3r I'd take Russell #1 overall, maybe Towns, but **** that Okafor guy

1. Russell
2. Towns
3. Okafor
4. Mudiay

Russell is going to be Harden 2.0.

He's at 57% on FTs in Chinese League, but only on 47 total attempts - so could be a sample size issue.

34% on 3s on 35-40 total attempts. He's only played 12 games in China so a bit hard to tell.

I don't think I know enough of the others to have Russell #1 but I've seen enough Russell to think he will be a star.

I've seen Harden and Ginobili comps ITT, but I've got him as a taller longer CP3

How far is the Chinese 3-point line? He seems like a definitely better shooter than Elfrid so it appears Thayer is just outright making stuff up.

I like Russell. Taking him ahead of Mudiay is fine. Mudiay is also a very elite prospect though. They could easily become like Kyrie and Westbrook or something.

I don't see the Russell/Harden stuff though. Harden is like 50 pounds stronger.

Wood,

I was just very surprised you had Mudiaye > Russell considering your thoughts on Elfrid yesterday and wanted to know your reasons. Like legitimately I was looking forward to reasons why since I haven't seen enough of him, but I guess all I will get back in return is lol Thayer is making stuff up. View it as me being curious about this prospect opposed to some argument and maybe you could respond with your thoughts on Mudiaye?

I agree getting good looks at jump shots in China is easier than in the NBA, Remember Smiff was putting up 50 on the regular while shooting 50% from 3.

They use FIBA line I'm 99% sure. Which is 22 feet. Longer than the NCAA line, shorter than NBA.

Actually that is probably his best comp. A taller CP3. He can't quite attack the rim like Harden can.

I really like all the top 4. And the freshman wings that will go 5-10. Love Oubre, he looked great yesterday. This draft is looking STRONG compared to how it was looking in December.

Why did you say that Mudiay is shooting worse than Elfrid Payton? Let's start there and I'll give you my reasons why I'm so high on Mudiay.
