McLemore will be the best player in this draft. Ray Allen potential. If the Pistons somehow run hot enough to get him we win it all by his 3rd year in the league.

FWIW this is coming from somebody who thinks McLemore is a pretty rad prospect and aorn I'd def take him #3 overall in the draft, but I'm wondering if he's starting to become a bit overrated due to recency bias.

College is ****ing weird. Some people will post great stats one year and suck dick the next. I picked a bunch of upperclassmen in the college draft who regressed this season even though they have an extra year of age and experience. Or look at somebody like Drummond who slid all the way to 9th in the draft due to sucking in college.

I suppose my only fear with McLemore is that we're overreacting to a 22 game sample (albeit an awesome one), not all of which came against tough competition. He really did come out of nowhere. Just some quick food for thought.

I like mclemore, I just don't really understand why hes leapfrogged shabazz on some mocks. He doesnt seem to create much offense for himself

ACL tear for Nerlens, 6-8 month recovery time. I'd be shocked if he didn't still come out and I would imagine he'll still go top 6-8 if not higher. I think he was the prohibitive favorite to go #1, no idea now. I'll make my long shot call on MARCUS SMART right now

I don't see why he wouldn't. Full recoveries from ACL tears are pretty common these days and the gap between him and whoever would displace him is huge.

Plenty of intriguing prospects after that but they all just scream "not top 3" to me.

I'm guessing a team that picks in the top 3 has the luxury to wait until he's fully recovered.

And by luxury, I mean they will suck with or without him.

ya not much of a risk to predict that a non-elite prospect will suck. zeller is like an average 10th overall pick or whatever.

3. Love was not a top 5 prospect entering college
4. RWB was not a top 5 prospect entering college
