and since no one cares about this, B is obv Trey Burke, A is Chris Paul

both came out as sophomores, Paul was stronger though, and a better shooter, etc? idk
lol comparing the two. paul is huge, a body built to take hits. he could have been a running back, like ty lawson too.

are there a lot of 6' / 178lbs running backs?

Burke actually weighed in 9lbs heavier than Paul coming out of college

though like i acknowledged, Paul was likely much stronger given he out-benched Burke 10-3

so lol @ comparing them being ridiculous, when they're quite close in most of the measurables

you can tell by looking at each player run, walk or dribble for about 10 seconds that paul is a bruiser and trey is a finesse guy.

the measurables are close, but that's why they should be analyzed closer.

Agreed, Burke shied away from contact in the paint on the reg in collage.

4.3 fta/game lol

Michigan as a whole ranks in the bottom 5% of team fta. Not sure if that's a valid stat to use

And the clips before 12:10 that show him finishing w contact aren't taken into account?

They're projecting him to struggle finishing through contact against NBA players. Considering all the evidence that seems a reasonable conclusion. They also anticipate that he will be picked 7th overall, and the #1 PG, so clearly they expect him to be at least a rotation player. He has almost no chance to be a star tho.

Meh, I can see tony parker with range as his ceiling.

Tony Parker is elite at finishing in the paint tho.

Yeah im not seeing why Burke is being mentioned with CP3 at all. They will have such different roles in the NBA. Burke will be much more score-first.

Burke's got a chance to be Jarret Jack I guess.

I think he's trying the "troll and pretend I wasn't sincere all along when proven wrong" tack.

Cody Zeller is apparently hitting the NBA 3 at a good rate in drills.

he did it with EASE in the half court. i am quite certain burke could not duplicate a play like that on anyone in the nba.

you won't see trey burke doing this.. i promise..

another highlight to compare physical capability..

I think Holiday's clearly more athletic. Burke is much more advanced at playing the point, shooting with range, taking care of the basketball than Holiday was coming out. If Burke has the necessary athleticism to play NBA would be my only real question, and I think he does.

Points in the paint, or efficiency while absorbing contact?

I mean Burke was often in the lane. Is he any worse than MCW, McCollum, Larkin, Green at finishing with contact?

Of course he's not gonna do what Holiday can do. 6'3, long reach, and generally considered one of the more athletic PG's in the game. But compare him to a guy with a similar stature and tell me his skills aren't equal or better at the same age.

well you said finish through contact, whoever originally said it said finishing. parker is obv one of the best guard finishers in the league

None of these guys figure to be nba starters.
