had the chance to get a look at Brandon Paul the combo guard from Illinois last night. DX has him going with the first pick in the 2nd, nbadraft.net has him 46th overall. He passed the CrunchyBlack eyetest with flying colors, this dude will rise on boards

Is Erick Green any kind of prospect? He's having an insane year and has played well against good competition.

What really stands out is that he gets to the line over 8 times a game (converting at an 85% clip) and is averaging almost 5 dimes a game.

He's yet to face a top 20 team but his TS in those games is 73.2%. DX has him going 27th overall. He's a 21 y/o redshirt junior, pretty interesting prospect.

Gonzaga seems to crank one of these guys out every couple of years, although this guy looks like the best of the bunch. Probably not athletic enough to be a poor mans Randerson but looks like an NBA role player to me

Just gonna lol at whoever drafts MCW. Dude can't even dribble which I imagine is a skill necessary to PG in the NBA.

I have no idea what to make of Nerlens, the line from his most recent game is one of the goofiest I've ever seen

Lotto pick and future NBA starter IMO

weak draft shabbazz overrated. im surprised that after seeing prospects like him in the past, he would be #1 on so many draft boards. he won't look explosive at all on the next level.

agreed; harden was way more fluid and capable 1 v 1 as a freshman

Won't be surprised at all to see Noel go #1 depending on who gets the pick. Yes his offensive game needs work, but it is coming along. But damn he is a nasty rim defender.

here's a take on cj mccollum - wont be nba starter. his handle is elite, but his speed isn't, which is ok under right circumstances, but i don't see it here. I checked to see if he was a massive 6'8" like pp and he wasn't. then I checked to see if he had it like bruiser andre miller and he doesn't. and if you watch highlights of sam cassell in his prime, he's actually quick as sh*t.

most of the guys in the nba that are shooting guards in pg bodies are better athletes than this guy. he's a spot up shooter on the next level. maybe a good one tho

Bazzy reminds me a bit of a lefty OJ Mayo. Anyone else?

Noel gonna be good I think. Elite defensive timing. Might need some time but can def see Tyson Chandler there. Skinny dude who fills out as he matures, I mean Chandler doesn't really have much of an offensive game and he still beasts there.

He's bigger/thicker than Mayo, but other than that seems similar.

It's hard to tell how good he is, UCLA has other guys with the ball in their hands a ton more than him.

i like this draft a lot more than last yrs.

after adavis it was a total crapshoot and all of barnes trob drum beal waiters included massive risks and downsides.

it seems that bazzy mcel and noel all have very good prospects to be legit good nbaers. after those guys is a scrum of bigs and others who are about on the same level as barnes trob etc.

Yeah, I think its a solid draft in the middle and I agree its better than last years overall. Nerlens doesn't really fit the mold of typical #1 dudes but I think he has the chance to be elite. I could give a **** less about college bb and I make it a point to watch Kentucky play, he's a pleasure to watch play defense.

Bazzy is starting to become underrated imo, I have no idea why an elite prospect would every pick UCLA. Zeller is also going to be very nice value for someone. The other kid from Indiana is also really nice. I like Marcus Smart a lot too.

nerlens has sick quickness, he's just so skinny. still seems about as cant miss as anyone else

just looking at smart's stats, he looks like the 2nd coming of fatters. undersized chucker who can't shoot, and unlike fatters he turns it over a lot. which is interesting because he seems to be rated high under some analyses. one of the reasons for that might be that, of the box score stats, steals are apparently the best predictor of nba success

trey burke looking good from some analyses, michael carter williams looks good too
