UNC is 0-3 in those games.

How far down is he going to slide? Is he even going to go pro this year?
Barring injuries, he will still get drafted in the Lotto-- his value is "potential" and "athleticism" which he still has (I'd compare his slip to Drummond of this year, unlikely he gets outside of 10-12, especially since this draft is kinda weak on depth, look at the players at the end of the lotto). His motor only looks good at times though and his offensive skills don't seem to have improved. That said, he really isn't fit for the role he has on this carolina team-- I was at the IU game and they kept throwing it to him 17 feet from the basket, expecting him to face up and shoot some kind of jumper or drive, neither of which he is really good at. There's probably hope for him when he's able to play in transition or off the PNR.

That said he's looks abysmal when I've watched ~3 Carolina games this year, but he's still 20 I'd imagine and he does have an "NBA body."

I thought of Drummond but I don't think McAdoo has the excuses that Drummond has

1) He's a sophomore not a freshman
2) He is a PF not a C and doesn't have the defensive upside

He's much closer to the PJ3 mold and while he doesn't have PJ3's extreme WIL (nor injury concerns afaik), he does seem quite shook atm. It wouldn't surprise me to see him drop out of the lotto, it would surprise me to see him drop out of round 1.

What about Barnes as a comparison? Didn't he slink at NC a bit; not like JMM has, but he's also playing pretty well in the league as a rook.

I think Patric Young is a much better comp for McAdoo than Drummond is. Staying to "be the man" just seems like such a bad idea

Barnes slinked much less so than JMM and had a decently high floor as a pro given his ability to defend and play off the ball.

W/o being intimately familiar with McAdoo's abilities in those regards, he certainly wasn't efficient as a medium usage freshman surrounded by awesome talent and likely the best passing PG in the country. And based on his DX scouting report, his defense is quite a bit more up and down than Barnes.

I don't know, he's still super athletic and guys have taken off in the pros after sucking in college before. But he's putting a huge damper on expectations thus far.

How has Ben McLemore looked to those that have seen a decent bit of him? Pistons need a SG desperately and should be picking in the ~5 range where he's projected to go.

His stats look sexy.

Poythress or McLemore would be so good.

would you lay 1.5:1 on him going in the top 13?

clutch

funny line, 10-19, 3-6 3pt, 1 reb 1 ast 1to 0pf. I don't know the first thing about college basketball and I haven't watched anything other than highlights of Shabazz. Is he just not asked to do anything but score in the offense? He can clearly score. Looking like kind of a weak #1 to me tho

lotto is 13 I believe. I don't like that wording though- if he doesn't declare this year then its no bet. I would do:

JMM goes 1-13 this year, I owe you $271
JMM goes 14-2nd round this year, you owe me $406.5
JMM stays in college for another year, no bet(this is favoring you because if he stays in school then its almost certainly due to his agent telling him that he wouldn't go in the lotto)

Nerlens is a natural on defense, I really like watching him play. He sets screens like a little bitch though

from a limited amount of time watching him it at least seems like he won't be the next tyrus thomas because he has a little more awareness than that.
