Euros and rest of world are used to in season tourneys from soccer so they could have tried going after international market first. Maybe some overseas games played London, Beijing! Silver is suck a dork

But in a way, NBA is smarter than European soccer in that the games are counted towards regular season. So there can be no complaints about extra games.

The eye test confirms this.

Spurs defense when Wemby isn’t on the floor is the worst I’ve ever seen. I guess that makes sense considering they were literally the worst defense in nba history last season.
