ngl i see your 62 pts on 37 shots and raise you 73 points on 33 shots + 10/7 is quite ill, even in this lolregseasonzerod era

that trade was wild bc trae is what he thought he was (quite good) and it was still such a big mistake. also never forget that the suns could have just taken luka after hiring his coach but opted for ayton instead
(i also legit forgot that the kings passed on him as well for bagley 3 lol)

anyway shoutout to everyone who said he was too slow and white to be any good

Pacers just channeled the same discipline that helped the Suns commit zero fouls in the whole 1st quarter.

It was a strange game that way. Balls shots and elbows and all that.

Looks like 6 of the top 21 scorers in the NBA went to UK. I wonder what kind of comps there are for that over the years. Gotta guess maybe North Carolina or UCLA as candidates.

I'm not 100% sure but I think Luka and Josh Green tied the modern record (and maybe the record for any game not involving Wilt Chamberlain) for most points scored by teammates (94) last night. Any guesses on which two players they now share the record with?

correct! I wasn't sure if someone would immediately go to that game or guess something like KD/Russ (they had 51/40 in a game).

Wilt (73) and Arizin (26) combined for 99 which is the highest pair of teammates I could find excluding Wilt's 100 point game. Those two also went for 78 and 19 in a game against the Lakers where Baylor (63) and West (32) combined for 95. Those were the only 3 instances I could find where teammates scored more than Luka/Green last night and 2 of them were from the same game.

lol. i thought he was a meaningful part of that team ... but only played 100 minutes all season, and like nothing in the playoffs

he's had a solid career though, useful player. $40m in earnings, not bad

Going from a 4pt play to an offensive foul for that slight kick seems crazy harsh
