NBA 2023-24 Season Thread - Page 4 - Sporting Events and Fantasy Sports

They start in the round robin. A bunch of games that would've otherwise just been reg. season games are now "Round Robin games with a crazy court".

After they play their 4 games, they move to the tournament while teams that didn't make it play each other (again, in games that would've happened anyway)

Kind of ironic that the more stars this team gets the less I like it.

Practically, those guys are all meh, but they’re like replacement level wing dudes who eat up 30 minutes a game at positions that Harden can’t play. Which is to say Kawhi and Pg gonna die. Again.

Taking my dad to see my (and his) first Lakers game on Wednesday when they play the Clippers. God damnit Kawhi and Lebron (I don't care about the others if those two don't play) you better not decide to load manage in the 3rd or 4th game of the season. I'll write a strongly worded letter to the NBA if they do!

Am I the only one who thinks that if we look at the picks return (especially from LAC with aging stars and no assets) compared to the leverage they have on an expiring Harden, sixers did quite well?

Don't know what CBA states but can't they trade those picks for better players while moving some of their expiring (morris, batum, korkmaz, covington)

Clippers are in LA. Their owner is very wealthy from even an NBA owner standpoint. He’s said he doesn’t care about spending money and the team is in LA. The 2028 first rounder thus isn’t that valuable.
